Johnny S. Clarke & Lisa Straub- young Ohio couple murdered

looks like Elvis/Dick has left the building.

most garages have door into house. usually to the kitchen. i think they were jumped there by people coming from garage.
and/or Johnny went for a knife in kitchen.

I think both victims were in another room when the murderers entered the house, if in fact the master bedroom showed signs of a struggle that is more than likely where they were found they were moved to the kitchen for what reason is anyones guess at this point.

but my gut feeling is that they were taken to someone else who was waiting in the kitchen that person is the one who had the beef with one or both of the victims and was also responsible for the plastic bags, questions and answers to one while the other was being suffocated.

The alarm instructions were left out by the parents for the daughter, she just didn't use it while she was home.

So does anyone want to speculate as to why they were murdered in the kitchen? you do know that the kitchen is an unusual room for a homicide to occur in in a home invasion crime of this nature. especially in a home that has a basement which by all accounts this home did have.

My guess is, the altercation took place, almost as soon as JC & LS walked into the kitchen/dining area, off the garage door entrance.

Look at this amazing case. The police have their work cut out for them, having to look at all these different shady people that Johnny and Lisa knew. Including Johnny's parents.

The police know what they are doing and they will catch the killers. I have absolutely no doubt. If I had to guess what the hold up with making an arrest is...

It is that LE is just waiting for their DNA, etc. test results to come back. Once they have that, somebody is going to fry. And I, for one, can't wait.

I can't wait either. When it happens this thread goes to 1000 pages. Lets hope there isn't some big long lag between arrests and trials, like with Casey Anthony.

I don't think that'll be the case, but hell, I honestly thought an arrest would have been made by now.

I don't understand why some believe there wasn't always an intent to kill? Would a gang home invasion of people that know each other just end up with a couple tied up, able to talk? I think there's no way they would leave anyone alive to testify. I think the moment the perps put their plan into action, death was their intended outcome for the victims.

And I also don't get the idea that if one believes Tiff is involved that she somehow missed an opportunity to save JC & LS. If she was in on it, saving them from dying would be a betrayal of the gang and she would be the next target. She would not be "riding hard" for her gang friends if she aligned herself with the victims.

I don't think there are reluctant participants here. I think Tiff was either in it all the way or completely uninvolved.

When you asked us to speculate on the "WHY" these 2 were murdered in the kitchen....can I conclude you to say the kitchen is where the killer held "Court" and by bringing them down to him it would be a statement of his authority. I don't see the kitchen holding that image to me, if anything it makes it possible that someone outside could hear or view the crime in action. A more secluded area to be able to conduct business is more probable to me. If there was a basement it would be the place to take them. please give me you opinion.

Maytee told the 911 dispatcher, her son was tied up in the basement. Also, another "local" poster said there was a basement, where the pool table is. That's all I've heard of a basement
