I learned from a VERY reliable source today that LE knows who the perps were. Suffice to say that some of the recent contributors here were right on the mark.

I think what they're waiting for is DNA evidence to be returned before any arrests are made.

Sadly, what we have heard about LS being tortured is evidently correct. Worse than we've read here I'm told.

With that being said, what time frame are we looking at for DNA results? I know that some testing takes longer than others, but its been nearly a month- do you have any idea, how much longer it may be?

I was wondering the same thing. How long for DNA to come back? Does Ohio have it to where if you where ever convicted of a felony charge that you had to submit your DNA????? I know thats what happens in my state.

IF he had his wallet taped to his chest, I think that just solidifies the theory that he owed someone alot of money (which has been a BIG rumor) & they came to collect.

there was a party there the night before.. and the key was stamped with three numbers and it is supposed to stand for the person whodid it so they can get paid or a message out there

I know ya'll are getting tired of me saying this...but I think something's up with the key. the way they've detailed it and described it... it's just TMI for a case that has NO I(nformation)

this may also have already been answered but the key numbers were not 447 or whatever someone said. it was 544 or 554 IDK but definitely some 5's and 4's. I think that unknown states it goes to alarm box downstairs and that it was in the central security document packet. if it is not to the alarm then IMO LE is putting specific info about the key out there in the hopes that the public can perhaps help to identify what it opens. JMO

I am friends with a couple friends of LS but never met her, I am very glad to hear they are on to the sick bastards that did this. in most jurisdictions all felons have DNA swabs taken right in court as soon as they are convicted. you can check your state's statute on that. and all sex offenders must submit DNA sample in most states.

DNA test results may vary lab to lab and priority status assigned to them. (as far as how long). i think FBI got all the ones from this case.

Looks like Mexico gang behaviour is finding its way here. This seems like a really "over the top" response to some bad dope. Torture and suffocation!! Truely sadistic!! I am thinking it was a directive sent from a "higher-up" in an organization. Like a turf dispute.

As far as who, probably a number of those trashbags TW runs with are involved. What I think it is going to come back to, and some things I have kinda heard were that he owed money. Don't know if that debt was also because of his mom but I heard from a couple people before I came to this board that she was an informant for LE so that is another possible angle. I am very sad to hear more reports of what I first thought that LS was beaten/rapped. Again, I never met either of them but I have friends that knew both involved and went to HS with both of them.

A justice reform bill endorsed by Gov. Ted Strickland and passed by the Senate designed to prevent wrongful convictions also includes a controversial measure to expand the collection of DNA samples to those arrested on felony charges.

Currently, Ohio only takes DNA from people convicted of felonies and violent misdemeanors.

Law enforcement groups support the expansion, saying it gets violent offenders off the street quicker and prevents future crimes.

But others say DNA collection before conviction crosses the line, especially because the bill does not address what happens if a person isn't convicted.

I'm so addicted to this site...as tragic as this horrible thing is, I couldn't help but laugh at you dreaming being on the beach sunbathing with Maytee and the other post of on google earth spinning around the house admitting they're loosing it...I run in the house after work to see the latest...must admit though could have done without the 4 pages posted about Maytee's eyebrows...so so so horrible...all of it...they were such a beautiful couple...

I do have to take issue to all of those who are judgemental about how anyone's kids turn out...all I can say is they either must not have kids or their kids are too young to "get it"...mine were all 3 grown with every advantage, absolutely adored, loving father/mother, church, etc. ...let me put it this way...in their teens and early 20's drove my husb and I nuts...we now look back and laugh and joke "there was a lot of drugs, sex and rock n-roll and we weren't geting any of it!"...now we can smile because they are all settled (one going through divorce) but over all fine, fun adults...but parents cannot control what their teen/young adults do. You can only love them and pray and do your best.

Maytee and her husband her Lisa's parents, my heart breaks for all of them...from all accounts, JC was a fun, cut up of a guy...looks like he got in over his head in something...my youngest daughter came home from college and freaked out as she showed us credit card debt of over $10,000 she got herself into...I'm just saying...different cultures but same mistakes...I think drugs (and especially the "business of drugs" ) are disastrous on our society and individuals but let's be honest...our past 2 presidents admittedly did drugs...JC was just in an environment way over his head...young and foolish like so many others...I bet if LS and JC had been allowed to live, had children, etc. they would have gotten their lives straightened out and been a darling little family...so sad/tragic...now no chance for that...

As if this wasn't horrific enough from the beginning, the confirmation of torture makes it even worse. For some reason, my first thought when I read that was M*P*Y - this was the work of a special type of sadist and quite likely someone who's used to this type of brutality.
