Johnny S. Clarke & Lisa Straub- young Ohio couple murdered

i take issue with this from article:

"It wasn't random. It wasn't a robbery. It was professional," Lucas County Sheriff's Sergeant Jame Schiavone said.

The sergeant gave an update on the murder investigation to the Springfiled Township Trustees as part of his monthly sheriff's report at the February 22 meeting.

that was Feb 22. this is March 1. they may have changed their thinking by now. maybe.

no i don't believe it was random. but i also don't believe it was "professional". pros don't kill with plastic bags. they execute with head shots and leave.
they don't leave a mess and DNA behind.

I completely agree with you, LC. I disagree with the professional part too.

Thats alot of info.
What happened to the 28,000 in reward money? Maybe they havent had
time to get the corporate check from TGIFridays yet to get it into the
fund.
So, do you think they are saying they are NOT in the area of the Straubs
only? Or gone from Ohio, period?
Makes no mention of any arrests...BUT...I wouldnt put it past LE
to go ahead and find these people and get them into custody before
they left the country or disappeared into the underground somewhere.

I like to think that they are working in making arrests....doesn't make me feel very confident though when he states they aren't in the area. Unless they are following them and know where they are.

I mean, none of these folks can look into a camera, it seems, without throwing a sign. Maybe I've just not noticed it before this case...

A manifestation of the personality defect when you can't form complete sentences or just a display that you aren't thinking. The Third Reich depended on an entire country of people to surrender independent thought processes and surrender to similar conditioning.

of course. why?

Just curious given the amount of public interest this crime has generated, specifically with the likes of FB and online forums, if LE could potentially (although highly unlikely) subpoena info when/if the case is brought to trial..

Criminal Identification and
Investigation (BCI)

The Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation, known as BCI, helps police departments and county sheriffs across the state by providing key support services free of charge.

BCI staff members analyze DNA samples to help catch criminals and solve cold cases. Police agencies around the state frequently ask for BCI investigators to assist at crime scenes and draw on the Bureau’s expertise in growing criminal problems, such as cyber crime.

BCI field agents are always on call to respond to crime scenes and assist local law enforcement agencies with their investigations.

Additionally, BCI is home to the state’s Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS), which contains the prints of millions along with their corresponding criminal histories, and the electronic Sex Offender Registration and Notification (eSORN) database, among other resources.

Its services are broken down into three areas:

* Identification
* Investigations
* Laboratory

Is there any significance to their involvement, in your opinion?

i am sure it is routine in cases such as murder. i also think the FBI was utilized for their labs.

right, I read this, LC, but it sure it odd, Pink's theory was exactly like this. Professional hit, due to drugs, most likely, & Pink even said the perps have left Ohio. He/she also posted this crime will never be solved, & if it is, it will be a long long time from now. Just very weird, IMO

I found - pinkyfloyd - aka "pink" to be informative but confrontational and suddenly "gone". Was it pinks choice? might someone be able to summon pink up again?

oh yes, Pink enjoyed making jabs at others' opinions/speculations, for sure! He/she claimed they were from Ohio, or use to be? ... Or was it he still has a brother living in Toledo? Can't remember, now, but apparently he/she knew a lot about the area...just seems so odd, being this is what their opinion was, so early on.

I agree, this has me thinking that JC/LS must have fucked with somebody's money/drugs who's pretty established on the southside, that's exactly what I thought to begin with, that JC was on somebody else turf trying to do business, or somebody fronted him a big amount of drugs to sell and he fucked up, maybe blew the money!! So, no more speculation about drugs thats' for sure, and he literally said it wasn't a robbery!! Sorry, but I just can't see a professional running over there with duct tape and plastic bags in hand, that sounds more like a couple of chump punks, who may have been paid to do it, and maybe that's why the Sheriff is calling it professional because they were paid to kill them? JC should have stayed away from that southside, established drug pins do not like people trying to horn in on their business or don't like people who they front drugs to not to come through with the money for the drugs they were fronted, so they must have provoked some serious players! Whoever went there was probably looking for the drugs he was fronted (or his own drugs) or the money, and hey why not check the rest of the place too!

below is one of Pink's comments -

This was a pro saying loud and clear, "Johnny fucked me. This is what I do to to people who fuck me. This is what I do to the loved ones of the people who fuck me. Don't fuck me."

UMMMM, Wasn't there a change jar missing w/like $40 in it? Why in the hell would a "professional" take a change jar. I think good ole' SGT. meant to say "personal."
It's the hint of arsenic that gives it that extra kick.

Hey everyone! been busy reading and haven't posted in a couple days but was just thinking regarding the police not releasing much detail about the murders and maybe LC can confirm or has been discussed and I missed it... They are probably not releasing much of the details like some of the stuff people heard and reported here to avoid "copy cats." Once they do apprehend the bastards and an announcement is made, their piece of trash friends could try to make it look like a serial killer with a similar M.O. and add some doubt. Just a thought, Carry on.
