Just my thinking, wouldn't JS then have some type wounds somewhere? You don't usually get into a fight or scuffle and not come out with a mark. Even when you wrestle with someone you can get blood blisters when you are rough housing. When you are fighting for your life I would think you would go all out. I just think you'd come out with some marks. Just doesn't make sense...
[/quote]Yes Johnny would have had to have had considerable bruising, if not marks, as his assailant fought him to regain control...unless there was a struggle with a gun and one of the perps regained control of the gun and put him back under the gun but even then I wouldn't be surprised if Johnny wouldn't have taken his chance with a gun. Unless of course he was hopped up on something and couldn't have put up much resistance but if unknown was the one who put it out here, then the kitchen was a wreck with much blood that obviously was neither Johnny's nor Lisa's.

Help me interpret.....

JC SR. said something to the effect that he pulled the bags
off the back of Johnny's head. Does this suggest that the bag
might have been a bag wrapped around the head and taped
and the tape was easy to break from behind? of was it that
Johnny was lying on his face? What do you all think?

Also....

Does anyone have the exact description of the profile of the
perp that some one from out of state quoted to the Blade? I
never could figure out if that was official or simply the journalist
calling up a random criminologist and asking him what they
surmised.

In the dozen or so articles I read last night, we just do not have enough legitimate information to know anything about the bags other than they were taped over their heads. I assumed taped to the necks to seal the air in. I think the out of state profile was a random criminologist.

Van64 - I happen to agree with you DUI - Kills - I had some drunken bastard come at me on the wrong side of the road! So menace is right on - but, another menace is BD - Lisa's ex according to Maytee - check that menace out - was someone out there scorned by Lisa - some sicko that sits nightly in the Bars both Applebee's and TGI Fridays have a bar - you can't rule out anything. I hope Maytee is calling the Detectives involved everyday - and you and Arigold what a night last night! Good Job both of you!!

The initial, published reports simply stated that the father ripped the bag off Johnny's head but he was already cold and he then went on to rip the bag off Lisa's head.

In my own mind's eye I am trying to sort out HOW (logistically) you put a plastic bag over someone's head and then duct tape it WITHOUT that person being, literally, out stone cold. I mean, anyone with half a brain cell is going to put up one hell of a fight.

I just had a wierd and strange thought when I saw this pic. How many of you think that if this girl and her hefty boyfriend met the same fate as J and L would we be discussing it as much?? Just a curious thought.

HA ha thanks. I was hopped up on Mtn. Dew and Snickers. I have a cousin, whom I grew up with, who killed a senior citizen while she was driving drunk. She had travelled 40 miles to buy liquor and ended up killing him about half a mile from his home and about a mile from her home. How is that for coincidence? She got 12 years by the way and in fact, she is still in prison. I just don't know why LE doesn't make every DUI offender put in that gizmo that won't start until the driver blows. It may not be foolproof on its own but it is a start and is more foolproof than nothing.

I do wonder about someone following Lisa home from TGI's. She could have been stalked for days before her stalker screwed up enough courage to attempt to do the deed and Johnny could have been just a sidebar. I mean, we have seen instances recently where entire families were killed just to get to one kiddo. Crazy but true.

That, however, does not explain why the bedroom walk-in closet would have holes in it in an obvious robbery attempt, unless the stalker was trying to throw LE off his trail. The fact that someone was looking for something and knew what they were looking for is the obvious answer there....

AND I still cannot get over the fact that the house was not burned down unless, as Ari said, all the perps wanted was to make and to leave a statement. I mean, LE obviously is at a dead end and by burning the house down, the perps could have almost assured the case would start cold and be cold for years on end and probably never solved. As it is, there has to be some DNA of the perps somewhere. But a housefire would have destroyed all the perps DNA.

IMO a stalker or possessive ex can be ruled out. I can't see that type of person searching vents and punching holes in the bedroom wall looking for something, and a stalker would probably be acting alone in any case, so would not have been able to subdue both victims.

Just curious LC,
if there is any kind of break in this case, like an arrest made or something, do you flag the thread, like with huge red flashing letters "Breaking news - Arrest made!!" or something? I hate getting my hopes up every time I come here and there are 10 more page.. but no new info on the case lol

Certainly the morbidity of the manner of death would still be there but yes, you're right...she doesn't square with our notion of typical beauty does she. And she has a pretty smile and looks like she would be a great deal of fun to be around.

Good point, Kitty - sad, but true. Another thought that occurred to me earlier is that we don't know what most other mockers look like; for all we know, this girl could be one of us.

i don't have the means to flag the thread. but the thing to do is go to the last post and you'll know if there has been an arrest from the comments. Smiley_emoticons_wink

Ah, I had slick forgotten about the vents. Now in all the articles I read last night, there was NO mention of the vents being searched by the perps. So again, how reliable is that information? That right there absolutely screams drugs doesn't it? A lone stalker would not be able to subdue Johnny, agreed.

The perps might have been so intent on finding what they came for and torturing/punishing Johnny & Lisa that they didn't even think of burning the house down.

Well, to be honest, I didn't think about it either until last night and then I was like, BOMBSHELL! What the perfect ending to make this crime perfectly unsolvable.

I just overheard a 300 pound woman explain that she adds Velveeta to everything. Sometimes correlation IS causation.
I have heard about that Velveeta diet.

Velveeta....
