yeah, not good, ugh

I would suggest that Tiffany knows who was invited to come to the house that night; and by a process of simple deduction the perpetrators are in that group of people or are known to one or more members of that group of people.

If Tiffany would provide those names and identities to LE, and each of those persons were required to provide samples of DNA and fingerprints, the odds of solving this crime would rise considerably.

But Tiffany's life motto on her Face book was something along the lines of "I'm a down ass bitch and I rides 4 my niggas and bitches" which I have suggested can be translated to something like this:

Attention potential suitors: I am not a high maintenance woman.
Attention my friends: I am loyal to a fault and would not "snitch" on you if you committed a crime.

Perhaps some of those here on Mock, who have a higher opinion of Tiffany, could provide a more accurate translation of her said life motto; and could persuade her to provide the police with such a list under oath.

There is nothing that says she can't give statements under oath to the police now, while pregnant, which could include a written list with names and addresses, etc.
That is an excellent point, but don't you think she has already been questioned for such things as that?

How do we know anyone was invited to the house that night? Are you talking about the rumor of a get-together, the night before?? I haven't heard if that was factual, & if it was, I'd say LE has talked to those that were there. From what I gather from Kitty, TW will probably take a polygraph, once her baby is born. I wish she could have taken one already!!! ugh! She claims her BF did.

On top of that, why would TW have to call Sarita (sp?) to get in touch with Maytee if she was, according to her own account, with his BFF...one would think he would have her number. Lastly, I find it odd that JC, Sr. would get a ride to the Straub's home from the very person Maytee would accuse minutes later of setting her son up for murder...idk, more random thoughts that I can't find a logical explanation for...

Maybe Johnny's father had no wheels or no money for gasoline,TW just became a friend of Lisa's and probably had never met Maytee before - I think she got a hold of Sarita to ask for Maytee's number - I finally think Maytee was half out of her head or mind and took everything out on this TW.

"Irresponsible and unprofessional" is how the family of a victim in a double homicide is describing comments made by a Lucas County sergeant.

The comments came from a trustees meeting inside Springfield Township hall and the family of Lisa Straub wants to set the record straight.

"We, as a family, are broken," says Lisa Straub's uncle, Jim Verbosky.

On January 31, Straub, 20, was murdered inside her family home on Longacre Lane. Straub's body was alongside the body of her live-in boyfriend, Johnny Clarke, 21. The two had been tied up, with bags over their heads.

It was a heinous crime that continues to haunt Springfield Township and the family of both victims. When Jim Verbosky spoke to Springfield Township trustees, he didn't talk about the murders, he talked about the rumors and the opinions expressed by then Lucas County sergeant James Schiavone.

Two weeks ago, Schiavone, according to trustees, told them the murders were a "professional hit" and that Lisa Straub had gang connections.

Verbosky says, "Had we had any indication that Lisa was in any grave danger, we would certainly have done something to protect her."

The sheriff has since released a statement: "The motive is unknown, but investigators do not believe this was a -- quote 'professional hit.'"

Trustee Bob Bethel says, "It's unfortunate that the remarks were made. I think we knew at the time that they were probably somewhat inappropriate."

Since the meeting, Schiavone has, coincidentally, retired. Lisa Straub's family wants to set the record straight.

"We as a family are totally appalled by his comments," says Verbosky.

Meantime, the case remains unsolved. The reward money is up to nearly $17,000. If you would like to contribute, you can make a donation at any Fifth Third Bank.

We knew the family would have to be hurt by those comments LE made. The families remain in our hearts and in our prayers. There are long and difficult days ahead.

I'm glad the family spoke out about those comments. I was appalled with what was said too. That police dept seems very unprofessional..

On the Justice will prevail page Maytee states that Lisa lived with them for a year and a half and was considered family.

I think all of this is so sad and now a freak steals a monument.

Well Jane, we know that Tiffany was invited. It's not just a rumor. She told us that Johnny was supposed to pick her up. We also know that she told us there were people there the night before. :partee:

Polygraph/shmolygraph! Awink

Just because she can't take a polygraph while she is pregnant doesn't mean she can't cooperate in a video'd Q & A session, under oath, with a Detective Police, after having been first Mirandized, at which time she can also furnish a signed statement and a written list of who was there the night before and who she expected to see there on the night of the murders. 34

Women who are pregnant Bed get up every day and go to work at very stressful occupations of all kinds. ::bantits::

If she is not upset by threatening in writing on a FB page to beat up another girl, I am confident she can handle talking to a Detective under oath.

Yes, maybe she has already done so, which brings us back to the question of a list of persons whose DNAs should be taken to see whether or not any match what came back from the FBI.

But with regard to taking the DNA of everyone who was at the get together the night before, wouldn't it be optional? There is no way you could get a warrant for the attendee's DNA just based on being present a day before a murder occurred...two murders in this case. Now if LE made a request and you did not comply, in their eyes you'd certainly be suspicious but I cannot imagine any self-respecting defense attorney who would advise "oh yeah go ahead and let em swab ya". Of course LE could obtain the DNA surreptitiously.
