I live just a few blocks from Longacre. Trust me--people are jumpy. I don't see anyone's garage doors open. I know ours are always shut and other doors locked. I am alone in my house tonight and every little noise makes me jump. Not sure if I'll feel safe for a long time. Lisa was a beautiful girl--visited our house a few times over the years--can't imagine what the Straub's are going thru. And even tho I feel this has EVERYTHING to do with Johnny, that was a horrible way to die

Nina, along those same lines...my best friend's son was at a local state university...partying hard...beer bongs, pot, you name it...(today he is a stock broker)...anyway...great kid just "having some fun"...all of a sudden a car full of girls pulls up in front of their "party house"....the girls are screaming, pile out, run up freaking out and screaming "those guys are following us"...My friend's son walks down to the car (had never seen the girls in his life)...tells the guys (later found out were in a gang)..."hey man, chill out, these chicks are petrified"...the driver reached over and stabbed him in the abdomen....point is these young kids partying life style can cross so many different segments...according to what some mocker stated Lisa and Johnny had "quite a few" people over the night before that the neighbors noticed...when one hears there's a party...all kinds show up...someone was there, cased it out and heard that the Straub's were gone for a wk out of town...the plan was hatched...

So, I'm assuming most of you have seen the post Maytee put on the "justice will prevail" FB page? What's your take on this, do you think it's another scare tactic that we have seen before, or do you think it holds some truth and hope this time?

Something had to happen elsewhere that pissed people off more than

I think it boils down to someone being very jealous, I don't know if it is TW,AG and their "goons" or if it had something to do with Lisa's crazy ex but I have a feeling its only those options... No one else... IMO

Check out people who were at the "party" the night before. Some one scoped the house out--knew Lisa would be at work and Johnny watching game at other friend's house. Go in to rob the house --Lisa gets off work a little early. JC and Ls get to the house and surprise the robbers. Johnny and Lisa know who they are and that's why they are murdered. IMO of course

seriously...If I was murdered tommorrow...my family would have no idea if I had duct tape in my home or not!!?? what is it that we know for sure that the tape AND the bags were brought into the home?
(I'm just wondering if maybe I missed something in all these pages, but both duct tape and bed bath and beyond bags are semi common household items...right??)

did the Straub's move out...we've heard several "rumors' but I can't recall anything that was said for sure they moved out...???

I was hoping Kitty1 could answer your question - you would think she would know or maybe concerned - I could never live there again after that hellish crime - then your post above Fabulous I think Kitty1 said the Straub's had no duct tape that was similar to the type used.

Often people don't have the economic choice to be able to say "I'll never live there again"...can't sell anything in this market...a hefty mortgage payment...their only choice is to move back in...
