He's a real winner isn't he? I just wonder if she left with this person to get away from him... She just acted so strange. It was almost as if she was wondering who I was. Like she needed or wanted something from me. Almost as if she was wondering if I was who she was waiting for? I wonder if she really did meet a Nancy that was hopefully going to help her get out of a bad situation... Though I think it is just a likely that she was sold as a child slave. at one point we heard around here that that part of the county was a huge "hub" for child sex trade... That was months ago. I think that the only thing that would shock me would be if she is found and no harm had been done to her. Im just going to keep praying and calling the police until i get someone! I am sure as hell not going to carry any harm done to her on my conscience!

I found you while I was trying to find out if there was anyone out there that was talking about this in a REAL way. Maybe hoping to find some hope that people were really working to find her or at least Talking about what happened without sensationalizing it for profit! I am so glad I found you too!

i think the uncle was pimping the little girl at that strip mall.

selling flowers my cute arse.

I completely agree and if in fact the uncle was sleeping/dozing off in a booth, perhaps the girl simply ran away?

was this girl being abused/molested?
this is so bizarre. one thing for sure, that uncle is a lying sack of shit.

the girl called her mom to say she was with someone named Nancy. She told her mom Nancy was not going to let her go. But the girl also said, she did not want to leave Nancy, Cpl. Smith said.

Family members have heard Nancy’s name before, but have never met the woman.

“This whole thing is very odd,” Cpl. Smith said. “It’s not your usual abduction.”

The girl told her mom Nancy said she would call police Monday. Two days later, police have still not received a phone call.

Investigators think it’s possible the girl’s abductor enticed her, Cpl. Smith said.

The girl’s mom told reporters her daughter said the woman has bought her clothes and other items.

Maybe if the Feds were involved they'd be monitoring kiddie porn sites for pics.

I'd be checking home computers, too.

The story will come out why they are "visiting".

My guess . . . transient criminals.

There are so many issues with this story, tiredmom's story brings even further shadow to the reports from this family. Thanks for posting and telling the police what you know. Why not release the child alert to get more clues and further drive this case home. The videos from surveillance show her running to parking lot, in 2 separate frames (maybe even smiling in the last one), so they obviously have many more shots of the before and after. The mom wasted valuable time asking her daughter why she got into the "van"!!!! I can't pretend to know how I would react if my 12 yr old went missing, except instinctively and survival driven... One of our children is 12 and we remind our kids to be aware of surrounds & strangers (they may be pretty face ladies or slimy looking uncles, but a stranger is a stranger, don't be duped by a kitten or think you are superman/girl) Bad people are out there (most are good) but the bad ones spend all their time planning how to do bad things while we are busy with normal lives. I hope she comes out safe and gets a better chance and justice is done to anyone involved.

Maybe the only way to be heard is by shocking the sensational Nancy with a call from a witness to her own show... a real "This Just In Tidbit"! Real news, real help, real time... Is it possible on the media train that claims to want to help? What Say You Nancy???

FYI- Same clothes in headshot??? a comment from viewer blog on local station website points out strange fact, look at the still shot of Pricella's double shirt outfit (holding teddy bear) that the local news site is running with the surveillance frames. How is it that she is wearing that again? Selling flowers, maybe not alot of clothes if monetarily challenged, but time to have recent photo in same outfit. I hope she is safe, still cant figure out if this is balloon boy or Casey Anthony!!!! Either way she is a victim!

Lady Cop You are doing a great job helping with this case. Most people say they want to help sit on the couch and watch the office. My question to you is if the Uncle met this women last week when he sold flowers why hasnt he done a sketch. Because most likely this girl will not be permitted to go outside. So this women has to go out to get groceries, gas for the van, if we have a sketch of her we would know what she looks like? Looking for the women is more important than looking for the little girl at this time. Why hasnt Joey the uncle give a desciption of what this women looks like?

JVM with guest who knows family:

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Why is a 12-year-old girl selling flowers? That was my first question.

STEVE: From what we understand, she helped out her mom to make a little extra money and a little extra money for herself. And in this plaza is where she used to hang out at, and she would go there and sell little flowers. And you know, make a little extra money.

When they went to this pizza place, her and her uncle ordered a pizza. And they were waiting for the pizza to get made. And her uncle went in the restroom for a minute to wash up. Told her to wait, you know, wait inside. And when he went inside to the restroom, she walked out for some reason. Something caught her attention, and she walked out.

After she finished up in the restroom, it`s a small little restaurant. It`s not a dine-in restaurant. After he finished up and he noticed that she was missing, and then he started searching for her in the parking lot.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Now this family, this little girl and her mom, reportedly only came from Nevada to visit the uncle about three weeks ago. What do you know about them and the relationship with the uncle? Are you friends mostly with the uncle or with -- how would you know them, if they just came from Nevada?

STEVE: No, we`ve known them. They used to -- they was Atlanta residents. They lived here in Georgia before they moved to Nevada. Originally -- they`re originally from Chicago. And they lived here, I think, about a year and a half.

I AM GLAD TO REPORT SHE HAS BEEN FOUND!
but there sure as hell is more to this scenario, i'd love to hear what. there is some reason she took off.

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. -- The search for a missing 12-year-old is over after she was found unharmed in Las Vegas, Nev.

Pricilla Ristick was last seen Sunday when she and her uncle, Joey Thompson, took a break from selling flowers at a Lilburn strip mall and went to get a pizza from Little Caesars.

Investigators with the Gwinnett County Police Special Victims Unit learned that Pricilla began to call Thompson’s cell phone from a blocked number. Investigators met with Thompson and learned that Pricilla stated that she was in a building with many people and they wouldn’t let her leave.

Investigators took possession of the phone and around 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Pricilla began to call her uncle and spoke with the investigators and indicated that she didn’t want to go home and claimed she was at a Kroger in Atlanta and she was fine.

As the investigators spoke with Pricilla on the phone, they were able to get the number she was calling from.

The phone was traced to an intersection in Las Vegas, Nev. As the investigators continued to speak with her on the phone, they contacted the Las Vegas Police Department and notified them of her location.

LVPD responded to that location and found Pricilla and took her into custody. Pricilla is now safe and unhurt.

Pricilla informed LVPD that she caught a bus to Las Vegas and had been there for one or two days. LVPD placed her into the care of Child Services.

Golly!

They're from Las Vegas and she returned "home".

Wonder why mama left 'Sin City' and travelled to Georgia?
