A young woman involved in a love triangle blames social media for the murder she committed. Both girls are seeing the same guy & one of them stabs her rival to death.
Is that a valid argument? What about personal responsibility?

No it is not a valid argument. I also heard a news report that people are blaiming Facebook for their infedility. They reconnected with and old boyfriend or girlfriend through the site and then blame the site for hooking up with them. Um yea, not buying it.

I blame the knife she used, and the company who made such a destructive tool.

I have not even read the article yet, but my gut reaction is that it is pretty lame. The Facebook defense? Give me a break.
We have an ongoing case locally about a woman who stabbed her boyfriend in the back because he friended another woman on Facebook. Christ. Is their belief in their relationship so low that this isw a valid excuse?
Now my husband and I do not have a perfect relationship..but who I friend on Facebook is the least of our problems.

Women have been murdering each other over men and men have been murdering each other over women long before the internet existed.
