I'm not sure you can separate elitism and discrimination. Some elitism IS discrimination while other forms have a more humanitarian bent. Duchess is the good breeding kind of elitist. I can't see her playing church bingo with the rest of humanity.

Elitism necessarily entails discrimination but the reverse is not true.

As for "good" elitism, such a notion is inconsistent with reality, which is that elitism breeds contempt for those deemed to be "lower", leading to all manner of abuses and exploitation.
