No, it is a civil war/uprising and fuck all to do with us why do we think its any of our fucking business?, we have already fucked about in the middle east for years and what good have we done?, little if any.
The UN should probably impose a no-fly zone but thats about it.

Gaddafi is a brutal dictator and I'd like to see him dead and democracy in Libya. And my heart goes out to the rebels.
However, as I type, Gaddafi is moving on Benghazi. I'm sure 100's (maybe 1000's) of rebels have already been killed or detained.
My point being, it seems like too little, too late. If we were going to meddle, we should have instituted the no-fly zone much earlier. That might have given the rebels a fighting chance without further intervention from outside.
Lots of brutal dictators all over the world and I don't see us rushing in to help their oppressed masses.
Also the situation with the rebels is (like most things in the world) not black and white, the Muslim Brotherhood are fighting among the rebels and they want Libya to be a totalatarian Islamic theocracy like Iran.

Democratic republics are only a good thing if you separate church and state. As long as they are guided by the ideals of some dead guy instead of thinking for themselves, I would think the situation is hopeless.
Wars aren't about the shit on the news. They are about maintaining control of crazy fucking people who like to kill innocent people. We tend to forget that because we watch too much TV.

We may not have the hot (too hot unless you are a reptile) weather but our beaches are comparable to any in the world.
We also have the added bonus of not having the worlds most poisonous and deadly creatures to worry about.
