yep...you get damn tired of people using religion to front scams. the Revs. and many more. this guy was nothing but a loser. and i almost don't even feel sorry for the gullible stupid people who fall for this shit.
and the mother here who told where Summer's body was, is a piece of trash too. she only did it to save her own ass from the needle. she could have stopped that vicious murder before it happened.
and Summer's husband, their son, has the IQ of a clod of dirt. you can see it just looking at him. well, they fixed their son's life too didn't they?
that poor young mother, who only wanted to get away from these dirty people, had a zip-tie embedded in her neck, and was dumped head-first into a septic tank. may each and every day these 'God-loving' lying scumwads spend in prison be filled with misery.
LOGAN, Ohio -- Summer Dawn Cook Inman was remembered today for her "million dollar smile" and a personality that fit perfectly with her name.
Her parents, Michael and Debra Cook, her three young children and her boyfriend, Adam D. Peters, with whom she had found love, listened as she was eulogized at the funeral service at First Church Praise and Worship Center.
Summer attended the church from the time she was a girl. Church member John Chappelear, who led the congregation in hymns today, turned to her parents with his recollections. Her parents and other family members sat in the front pew, facing her flower-draped casket
"I will always remember her million-dollar smile," Chappelear said. "It's like a summer sunshine. Thank you for naming her Summer Dawn."
I hope I can put this here. This is where I've been keeping updated. Not sure which side of the family. http://summerinmanmurder.wordpress.com/
What do you think?
ATHENS COUNTY, Ohio -- A cell mate of Bill Inman, a suspected kidnapper of Summer Inman, told ABC6/FOX28 that he witnessed Bill's shock when Summer's body was found.
"He said, 'There goes my case,'" Chuck McCarron said.
Summer Inman disappeared in late March. Her estranged husband and in-laws are charged with kidnapping her. Summer's body was found on March 29 in a church septic tank. No murder charges have been filed.
McCarron was serving a sentence for a D.U.I. conviction at the Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail, the same facility housing the Inmans.
McCarron, who was released on Friday, said Summer's husband, Will, was in solitary confinement, but Bill was not. At least not right away.(probably on a suicide watch)
A man suspected of kidnapping his daughter-in-law allegedly told a fellow inmate, "[I] wish we hadn't done it."
According to documents obtained by NBC4, an inmate who was housed in the same area of the Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail (SEORJ) as William A. Inman Sr. told police the suspect allegedly expressed concern that his wife would say something to police.
Inman, his son and wife are charged in the kidnapping of Summer Inman on March 22.
The inmate said Inman, "at one point received a letter from his wife. [Inman] started crying and said, 'Wish we hadn't done it, wish I hadn't helped my son out.'"
The inmate also said Inman had not eaten since he arrived at the SEORJ.
The documents also allege that during a separate conversation, Inman allegedly said, "[I'm] really worried my wife might say something."
Another document said the inmate told police that while talking, Inman said, "I'll tell you what, no matter how hard they try, they will never find her, as long as my boy and wife stay strong."
The inmate claims he asked Inman, "Who is they?" and that Inman replied, "The cops." When the inmate asked "Who is her?" he said Inman replied, "My boy's girl."
The inmate also said he asked Inman if he killed her and that the suspect, "became upset at him asking this question."
The mother-in-law charged in the kidnapping of an Ohio mother who was later found dead in a church septic system has changed her plea to not guilty by reason of insanity.
Sandra Inman, 46, was the one who told authorities where they could find 25-year-old Summer Inman’s bound, strangled body a week after she, her husband and her son allegedly abducted Summer outside the bank where she worked on March 22.
47-year-old William Inman and Summer’s husband, 26-year-old William Inman II, refused to cooperate with investigators, but Sandra Inman’s attorney negotiated a deal with undisclosed terms for providing information after their arrest.
The Inmans are currently charged with kidnapping, but no charges connected to Summer’s murder are expected until a grand jury meets later this month. All three initially pleaded not guilty, but Sandra Inman changed her plea to not guilty by reason of insanity at a pretrial hearing last Tuesday.
Her attorney did not comment on the reason for the change.
Summer and William Inman II were in the middle of bitter divorce and child custody proceedings when she was abducted. Court documents she filed last year show that she was frightened of her husband, who she claimed had threatened to kill her if she tried to leave with their two children.
In police documents released last week, statements from an inmate housed in the same area as the older William Inman indicate that he was afraid his wife would give up information that could incriminate them all. “I really worried my wife might say something,” Inman allegedly told the inmate, also stating cryptically that he wished he had not “helped my son out.” In another statement, Inman is quoted by the inmate as saying that the police would never find Summer’s body “as long as my boy and wife stay strong.”
Following Sandra Inman’s change of plea, the court ordered an evaluation of her mental condition at the time of the kidnapping. The Inmans are all being held on $1 million bond in Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail.
well now the burden of proof will be on her...to prove she is insane. it's just legal BS to try to avoid the max sentence. she already got a plea bargain to take death penalty off the table by telling where the body was. what she's after here is the looney bin as opposed to LWOP. with an insanty verdict, she could be found to be sane and released someday.
Adam found a letter Summer wrote shortly after they found her. He posted it on FB for everyone to read.
Most of you know by now that Summer left me a note. I found this note on Friday after we found her. I had been praying and wishing all day Friday that I could hear her tell me that she loved me one more time, that I did enough for her, that she was truely happy. Friday night as I was putting the kids to bed, the paper picture of Summer we had hung up in the kids room had ripped, and nobody could find tape for me to fix it. Something told me to look in Summer's bedside drawer, inside I found a roll of tape and under the tape I found this letter. I know that she left this note for me, to give me peace, and grant my wish. I will forever hold these words close to my heart. I hope they touch everyone who reads these words. They have no date or title, but they were penned with love and adoration.
"How do you know true love is real. Is it the way they look at you, the way they talk to you, the way they touch you? Is it the way they treat you? Or maybe just purely a connection you feel for each other. Is there any way to know for sure. I'm sure many people have often wondered this same thing. Some probably asked around hoping for an answer while others simply sat and pondered the question. What IS true love?, and is it real? I suppose there is no for sure way to know. Some would say yes while others say no. I've often wondered myself, going back and forth not sure. In some aspects it seems like and obtainable thing wheareas in others it seems so unrealistic you wonder why we even try.
If I were asked my opinion I would say that the answer is yes and no. True love I do belive exists, but only to those who allow it to happen to them. Now why wouldn't someone want it to happen you may ask. It's simple really. Some people try so hard to look for it that they look past it and don't realize it when it's right in front of them while others see the possibility of true love and get scared and run away. Scared that they may be wrong and get hurt in the end or that it may not last. How many times have you thought that you were in love and then been wrong? Several I'm sure, it's easy to get caught up in the motions of a relationship and how we think we should feel and how we think we should act that we don't listen to what our heart is telling us anymore.
So for the people that do believe in true love and do think it's an obtainable thing, how do you know when it's real? Are there signs you should look for, warning signs that it may not be real? It seems this world is set on making signs for everything. There is always something we should be looking for good or bad. I believe in true love there are no signs. It's not something you foresee or can look for, it's something you feel. Is it in the way they look at you...yes. You can tell alot about someone when they look at you. Your body goes through all kinds if emotions, happieness, fear, self-conciousness, guilt. So how do they make you feel. Is it in the way they talk to you and treat you...yes. No one ever said being in love was easy but it's not something you should have to work for either. Especially if one of you isn't willing to work for it.
Is it in the way they touch you. How does it make you feel? I did often wonder what true love really was and if it was obtainable. Fact or fiction. But I believe now more than ever that it is obtainable and that it is very real. How is that you may ask? Because I have found it. I found it in the way He looks at me with unjudging eyes and compassion. It's in the way that he talks to me with respect and equality. It's in the way he touches me with strong gentle hands and it's in the way he treats me with love and patience. How could that be anything other than TRUE LOVE?"
The capitalized words were underlined in the letter. I hope that Summer's words will touch so many others as they have touched me. I now have no doubt that I gave Summer everything I could, even though I already knew that, she gave me assurance of that. She was the love of my life, and I hers. Even now she watches over me and our children, with that same love and adoration she always gave me and them. I love you Summer.
HOCKING COUNTY, Ohio -- One of the men accused in a Logan mother's murder tries to commit suicide in jail before going on a hunger strike.
William A. Inman Jr., 26, made an appearance in Hocking County common pleas court Wednesday.
The younger Inman is accused in the murder of 25-year-old Summer Inman, who was his estranged wife.
Investigators found Summer's body in a septic system on the property of a Nelsonville church Tuesday, March 29, 2011.
Summer's father-in-law, 46-year-old William A. Inman Sr., also is accused in her murder.
Her mother-in-law, 46-year-old Sandra Inman, is accused in Summer's abduction.
The younger Inman's pretrial hearing was set to update all involved parties on motions filed and case information.
During the hearing, the prosecution learned the younger Inman attempted suicide while being held in the Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail.
That's where he and his father have been since they first were indicted on charges of kidnapping. Later, they both were charged with two counts of aggravated murder and one count each of murder, tampering with evidence and gross abuse of a corpse.
Both pleaded not guilty to all charges. If convicted, the men both could face the death penalty.
Apparently, the younger Inman wrapped a cloth around his neck and tried to hang himself from a vent of some sort.
He failed and then went on a hunger strike.
The judge asked the younger Inman's lawyers if an evaluation for competency was required.
His lawyers declined, saying his actions were to get attention and the younger Inman didn't really intend to harm himself.
The lawyers said he could stand trial. The younger Inman was in the room and didn't object.
The younger Inman's trial is set for two weeks in January 2012.
The elder Inman's trial is set for two weeks in December 2011.
Sandra's competency to stand trial still is undetermined.
Jurors in a gruesome murder trial gasped in horror after being shown photos of the body of a woman who was found strangled and stuffed in a septic tank.
The images were so disturbing the Ohio courtroom descended into silence after the shocked gasps on Thursday during testimony from an investigator who was at the property where 25-year-old Summer Inman was found last year.
Authorities say she was abducted in Logan, strangled and dumped in an underground septic tank behind a church in nearby Athens County.
