in other words I could not prevent one of those homicides, all I could do was cover a body and take a report, now here is the part that you are going to find amusing, none of the victims were armed, none of them felt the need to protect themselves, I believe that was because of the false belief that they would be protected by the police.

The simple fact is that the victim is the only one who can protect themselves from violent crime, and then only if they are prepared, armed and dangerous in their own right, not to the other law abiding citizens, but to the criminals who look for the defenseless so that their job is easier and much less dangerous.

You in your wisdom have become just like those three people who are now dead, because you believe that taking a person right and means of self preservation are the thing to do. And that all of the criminals will obey the law and also forfeit their weapons.
