Initiation and torture?

Bring it.

Now, how do I go about avoiding a ban? I've heard word from reliable sources that the mods here have a hair trigger on their bannin' cannon. Is true?

Somehow I doubt any source you have would be reliable.

Do you understand the difference between mocking and flaming? If you frequently use terms like "pwned" and your posts boringly contain references to cunts and cum (all.the.time)...you're probably not welcome (actually, you're just tedious). If you can actually compose a post without all caps and with some semblance of intelligence, welcome aboard.

We don't do stoopid here. Okay, there might be a few exceptions, but MOSTLY we don't do stoopid.

There's no difference between mocking and flaming.

mock
[mok]
–verb (used with object)
1.
to attack or treat with ridicule, contempt, or derision.

From wikipedia on the topic of Flaming

Quote:Flaming, also known as bashing, is hostile and insulting interaction between Internet users.

Now answer me this, username; what's the difference? Attacking with contempt, derision or ridicule is how I flame, so how can you tell when I'm flaming you and when I'm mocking you?

You provided your own answer. Flaming is hostile and insulting. Mocking is deriding with ridicule.

For example, I could say you're a smegma eating dickwad (flaming) or I could say that you're just painfully slow since you seem unable to grasp the nuance. We're highbrow flamers. Smiley_emoticons_smile

So flaming is hostile and insulting, but to attack with contempt and derision is neither hostile nor insulting?
Try harder, sunshine.

By the way, what's Mock's policy on trolling?

The same as it is on rhetorical questions...

Yes, there is a difference. Flaming is more in your face insulting while mocking is more subtle (and requires more brain power).

Hell, I don't care if you "flame" but if your flame vocabulary only includes words like "pwned" and shit, you're dismissed, in my opinion. If you can actually have an intelligent conversation (and can learn the difference between mocking and flaming), welcome to the forum.

HA! You guys really don't want to admit that you're flamers like everyone else, do you? No, you guys don't flame, you mock. Semantics are what make the world go around after all.

I think the real difference you're trying to point out is that you don't like people who suck at flaming. And that is fine, just sprout a pair and say it outright instead of hiding behind elitism.

Also, lol @ "sick of staying on a leash?". I'm on a fucking leash, I can only access two fucking forums. This is false advertising to the max.

Sure . . . NO difference, Webster.

Lemme guess . . . your gay friends never use the word "flaming".

They use "mocking". "Bruce is such a mocking queen!"

And now . . . please insert a predictable retort to show how bright and high-brow you are.

God only knows, I deserve your abuse and disdain.

I sort of disagree. We don;t flame. We Mock. But our tongue is in

Here is what you're missing, the door you came in also swings out, you are not on a leash, you're free to leave anytime you like.

Should you decide to stay then consider your position at present to be in the foyer of the forum, you have yet to be invited into the house.

Seeing as how you showed up here from bannednation, or rejecthaven or one of the other prepubescent flame sites, I would put your chances at being invited in at about 30%.

But I have been surprised before, and i'm sure i will be again.

Hate to sound like a typical flamer here, but tl;dr. If you're going to bombard someone with a wall of text, make it interesting.

I might be from RH and BN, but that doesn't mean I'm here representing them, you presumptuous dick. I'm just here to see what all the fuss is about. I didn't participate in the raids. It's nice to see they left an impression though. I'm guessing not much has happened since then.

But that's neither here nor there. I'm betting to get the benefits of the shit advertised on your banner, I'll have to suck a whole lot of corporate penis and be invited into your social circle, not just the rest of the forum.

Actually, for THOSE benefits, we require a full scope background check (criminal, financial, sexual, etc), DNA sample (blood, sperm, etc), and MENSA card.

I have none of those things. My criminal history is as non existent as my sexual and financial ones, and MENSA kicked me out for pointing out their flaws.
DNA, well. Pay for my plane ticket and I'll fap in Duchess's hair.

Personally, I love flaming but Mock has a zero policy. Whenever I get the itch to flame I go out of town, so to speak. Awink

Yes, there is a difference & the best proof I have to show you would be to compare Mock to RH or any site of RH's caliber. Much of Mock is private but what you can see should enforce what I've just said. Mock isn't promoted as a flame site & lately all of our promotion is coming from those that are unable to gain access.

Oh...and flame sites let anyone in, we don't. 27
