A video on the right side of the page linked below has an updated news report. The current story is the brother saw Holly and the camo guy at the treeline into the woods, assumed she was with her boyfriend, and didn't call 911. A neighbor heard Holly scream, and she called LE. I don't recall if the reporter mentioned if the brother ever got around to contacting police.

Adub was right. This comment on the ABC article:
I just got off the phone with a friend of mine that lives in Parson's and has known this family all the kids lives and goes to church with them. This friend of mine I've known for 20 years. My friend said this story is not completely true and he got this info from the brother. The brother is an avid hunter and would have shot at anyone trying to harm his sister and he is not disabled. His sister has two ex-boyfriends one being recent (within the last few days) and the other has a restraining order against him (he threaten to kill her). The sister went outside to leave for school, the brother heard what appeared to be a minor arguement between his sister and what he thought to be the recent ex-boyfriend dressed in camo (assuming he was waiting for her to leave for school). The brother then saw the two WALKING towards the woods or a wooded area of the yard so he went on about his buisness. About 45 minutes to an hour later realizes his sister's car is still in the driveway and she had not left for school. So he called both is parents, I believe another friend of her's and he called the ex with the restraining order at his work to see if any had heard from her (again, the brother thought he saw her with the recent ex-boyfriend), then he called the police. Not long after the ex with the restraining order got the call from her brother he left work and has not been seen since. At the home there were no signs of struggle at the car port or in the grass.I don't know why the two ex's haven't been mentioned in the news. I guess the police have their reasons. But in alot of cases like this they will issue the type of vechile they drive and license # to get as many eyes looking as possible.I hope that whoever has her is so in love with her and they would never harm her, that they just have her hidden somewhere. With 3 helicopters, heat tracing devices, all the search people on foot, 4-wheelers and horses and they haven't found her yet makes me think in that hour of time this person got her as far away of parsons as he could. Also as of 9:30 Wednesday night they lost any kind of signal from her cell phone.Everyone pray for her safe return and pray that god looks down on the person who has her and convinces them to let her go.
"Police searched thick brush and rugged terrain in western Tennessee on Thursday for a blonde-haired 20-year-old nursing student, a day after her older brother told authorities he saw a man in camouflage dragging her body toward the woods....Clint Bobo was home when he saw Holly being dragged across the carport, authorities said, but they haven't revealed what he told a 911 operator or provided much other detail. All they have said is that he is helping investigators."
This report, citing information provided by authorities, grossly conflicts with the WSMV link I just posted with video of a news reporter stating the family said Holly's brother saw her and the camo guy at the treeline to the woods - nothing about seeing her being dragged from the carport.
PARSONS, Tenn. — A sheriff says bad weather moving through western Tennessee will affect the search for a woman who was last seen being dragged away by a man in camouflage.
Speaking Friday on NBC's "Today" show, Decatur County Sheriff Roy Wyatt said there are forecasts of hail, wind and possibly tornadoes in the area. He said searchers would wait and see how that will affect efforts to find 20-year-old Holly Bobo.
Wyatt also said authorities don't have any suspects in the case, which is being investigated as an abduction.
Police said they found 20-year-old Holly Bobo's white lunch box about eight miles from her home by a creek. At 11 a.m. Friday, investigators were expected to announce a new plan and areas to search.
Approximately 20 miles is going to need to be covered and another storm is moving in. Search parties have been split up into 2 groups and EMA was heard telling volunteers "if you find anything, don't tell the press. Don't talk to media."
Savannah, Hardin County and West Tennessee News 24⁄7
The rural search area, which could best be described as rugged in fair weather, is expected to get hit with high winds and rain and possibly straight line winds or a tornado.
Wyatt, on NBC's Today Show, addressed questions regarding Holly Bobo's whereabouts and if there are suspects in custody related to the abduction.
"We have talked to every person that we know, every family member, every acquaintance", Wyatt said on the Today Show, adding, "We do not have a suspect at this time."
Sheriff Wyatt also confirmed that the Sheriff's Department and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation were able to account for the whereabouts of Holly Bobo's boyfriend at the time of the abduction. Reports from Decatur County have indicated that the nursing student's boyfriend is an avid turkey hunter, and is frequently seen wearing camouflage clothing.
As far as theories regarding the whereabouts of Holly Lynn Bobo, Wyatt noted that from the beginning the investigation had been handled as an abduction.
"We have no evidence to believe...that she is still not in that area", Wyatt said, when asked if he believed Holly Bobo may have escaped from the woods.
this is the kid in all the photos with her. post#3
Holly had been dating a local boy, 19-year-old Drew Scott.
The boy's grandmother, Susie Siglow, told The Daily the two were madly in love and planning to marry, and said Drew was too distraught to speak.
"I’ve known Holly for a long time," Siglow said. "Holly would never hurt nobody and she would never run away from home. She is the sweetest person you could ever meet."
She added, "[Drew] is tore up. Last night was the first night they’ve been apart for about a year."
PARSONS, Tenn. - Authorities said they have discovered a car that had the cell phone of a missing woman along with camouflage clothing inside.
Search crews found the items on Friday, more than 48 hours since 20-year-old Holly Bobo was last seen at her home in Parsons.
Authorities are asking people in Decatur County to show up and help search in this new area, which is about eight miles from her home. They want people to meet at the command post at the Decatur County fairgrounds.
Heavy rain has slowed the search through rugged terrain in Decator County.
A break in the rain about midday Friday allowed dozens of law enforcement officers and volunteers to resume looking for Bobo.
THP: to crowd: we would not have you here if we didn't have reason
this is bullshit, now the police are denying all the reports of car and phone found. and changing the initial story of what brother saw.
boyfriend and brother are cleared of suspicion. but locals say she has an ex that she had restraining order on. no name released, no POI named.
there are 900 searchers out!
(CBS/WREG/AP) PARSONS, Tenn. - Investigators now say the brother of missing Tennessee nursing student Holly Bobo did not see her being dragged from her home.
They say, instead, that he saw blood outside the home after he saw g
her speaking with a man. He has also been ruled out as a suspect, reports CBS affiliate WREG.
Additionally, the search was moved from her home to an area about eight miles away Friday after authorities say they discovered a car that had Bobo's cell phone along with camouflage clothing inside.
I can't recall the last time LE has backtracked on so many details THEY THEMSELVES HAVE PREVIOUSLY RELEASED. If it's because they've never dealt with a situation like this, then they need to seek guidance from the TBI investigators working with them.
well this is either the usual crappy reporting i see on every case i track, or it's designed to confuse whoever may be holding her. oh, and now "they found duct tape with blonde hair stuck to it". i don't believe a damn thing the media reports.
searchers are out again this morning.
MSNBC reports that investigators said they found Holly’s cell phone and camouflaged clothing in a vehicle nearly eight miles from Holly’s home. Her white lunch box, they say, was recovered from a creek in the area, police said.
Earlier in the evening ABC News reported her cell phone and the camouflaged clothing were not found.
Investigators initially said Clint Bobo saw the back of an unidentified man dragging his sister towards the woods as she was leaving for class. Now they say, someone walked her away, and that her brother called 911 after spotting blood outside the house.
The first thing that came to mind when I first heard of this story was, the guy wearing camo. could have been a military survivalist that probably had been camped out in the woods maybe days before he abducted her. I think it's very possible she's still alive. He may have a cabin or something deep in the woods where he has her. He's probably a whacked out veteran that had/has an obsession with this girl.
I certainly hope they find this girl safe, although I doubt it. The mother's cries are just heartbreaking.
"Three great forces rule the world: stupidity, fear and greed."
it seems from what i've read everyone around there wears camo and hunts turkeys.
i believe it's a person known to them, and they also know the guy has not been home and his vehicle is missing. they are just not saying anything so not to spook him if he is holding her alive.
there will be a presser at 3 central i have heard.

i also meant to say if there was a car found, it may have been stolen, and not his.
if he's some nutjob who wants to "keep her" she could be still alive. evidently the police think it's possible because they called out everybody in town to search last night, in a very urgent plea. 1000 people showed up! and some searched through the night. so they must think this is a rescue operation. i hope so. but my cynical side says she's likely dead. because of the blood in driveway. i hope to be wrong.
