So last night I watched the Ten Comandments..still cannot figure why they always show it at Easter.
Right now, I am at the other end of the spectrum and watching Jesus Christ Superstar

I like Superstar some great songs in there. I think Jesus in the movie version is the lead singer for deep purple. I still have the handout they gave out from the Broadway show.

You are right..sort of. Ted Neely played JC in the movie. Ian Gillan of Deep Purple sang the part on the original album of the rock opera..before the stage plays and movie

Me.
But I won't desecrate the Easter thread.

My youngest brought a friend to our church's service last night. This kid had never been to church before. After dinner, my youngest decided to see how far she could drive me into madness by spiking a fever and throwing up. All. Night.
Lunch at the in laws. Always a pleasure. In the way a root canal with a dull drill and no anesthetic is a pleasure.
Then, this evening, I said goodbye to a friend.
So all in all, an odd weekend.

I think your little world is so dang cute.
Baptists are mean as hell and will hump your husband in a minute. Those are the nice ones. The worst ones talk shit behind your back and smile sweetly to your face. I tolerate them because they are usually very good cooks. Love me a Baptist cookbook.

Cracker, my mother in law gives me one of those cookbooks every Christmas. They gather dust.

The desserts are extra good, but you probably don't eat much of that crap. I don't either. I just like them, not sure why. Americana, I guess.
Ebay, baby. Maybe she will buy them again to give to you.
She must not like your cooking or she only buys presents if they benefit Jesus.
I'm teasing you, but I was married into a super churchy family. Couldn't tolerate that AT ALL. You are the saint.

She hasn't bothered much with her candy. Although the bunny did lose it's ears already. She wasn't feeling much better when she finally fell asleep, so I'm off to try and sleep while I have a chance. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.
