My oldest hunts. Deer, turkey, he fishes. He loves the sport of it. The tracking, picking out where's the best spot to sit or put a tree stand, which call to use, which bait, which rod....he releases most fish unless he's fishing for food. If he gets a deer or turkey, its eaten, he doesn't kill for trophy, but figures that's a bonus if he gets one worthy. I've had grown men tell me he knows more than they do about fishing and hunting. He even makes his own lures and ties his own flies.
Just shut up. Just shut the fuck up right now.

The governor of Wyoming wants the feds to take grizzly bears off their endangered list, a move that could open the door to hunting the fearsome animals, which have been blamed for at least four fatal attacks in the last two years in and around Yellowstone National Park.
Gov. Matt Mead recently wrote Department of Interior Secretary Ken Salazar asking that he remove federal protection of the grizzly bear under the Endangered Species Act. The May 24 letter, which Salazar's office said is being reviewed, said grizzly bears have "unquestionably recovered within the Yellowstone Ecosystem" and an official close to Mead acknowledged that managed hunts may be needed to control the population.
"At some point in time, we would envision hunting grizzlies," Steve Farrell, a policy adviser to Mead, told FoxNews.com. "It’s an important tool for population management, just like it is for whitetail deer and elk."

Hog hunting is fast becoming a right of passage in Alabama, and young Ryan Chavez was given his first taste of the controversial sport this summer.
These captivating photographs show dad, Jeremy Chavez, teaching the six-year-old how to shoot before joining in on a hunt for wild boar at the Great Southern Outdoors Wildlife Plantation in Union Springs.
Dressed in head-to-toe camouflage so they can sneak up on their targets, a team of amateur hunters, including the Luling, Louisiana, father and son, discuss tactics in the plantation bar, before setting off on their late night mission on the 6,000 acre property.
The Great Southern Plantation offers the sport from April until September, with an aim to cull its pig population.
Since 1988, the plantation has harvested 1,400 wild hogs.
The best time to hunt the animals is during the heat of the summer when water sources are limited and creeks, ponds and swamps become a magnet for the imposing beasts.
