Would a shut down of this movie be considered censorship?
Director Kathryn Bigelow hasn't yet called "action" on her movie about the capture of Osama bin Laden, but the project is already stirring up controversy. Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y.), chairman of the House Committee on Homeland Security, sent a letter to the CIA and the Department of Defense on Tuesday asking for an investigation into whether the White House has granted Bigelow and Sony Pictures access to confidential information for the project.

Apparently a Congressman is concerned that Katherine & her partner on this film may have been given access to information that shouldn't be made public. He wants the CIA & DHS to investigate.

I don't know how that will be reconciled, we couldn't see the factual information, but we will be able to see the information in a biased movie.

Hmmm, Sony entertainment wants to make a movie about Osama and they're consulting with government to try to be as accurate as possible (I'm sure it's not the first time that that's been done).
Unless they can show that there's been some impropriety, disclosure of classified information or that it's somehow harmful to national security (beyond the fact that it might help Obama get re-elected) then yeah, I think it would be censorship.
