Let's narrow it down a bit - Right to what? Equal how?
If I had a female boss (which I don't but I have), she has to be able to do the job. Nothing to do with gender. Shitty is shitty, competent is competent. President I couldn't say. I have zero interest in politics so if there was a female president I'd be the last to notice and the least likely to care.

Would be hard to miss the first female President though. You're aware that we currently have the first black President sitting in the White House - I saw you reference it in a post here. Anyway, I agree - whoever's best qualified regardless of gender is fine by me.

I also make excellent cookies and raise children.

I would have liked HillBill back in the white house, because whatever you say about them they sure love the job, and were good at it. People tend to think to much about horseshit like "integrity" and "ethics" and "honesty" in that position, as if anybody who makes it that far up the political ladder has anything but bald ambition and cutthroat political savvy. Every year I get older I realize we really don't know what the hell we want as a nation...most of us should be stripped of the right to vote.

If anyone's vote counted, their 'right' to do so would've been stripped yesterday.

She loves her some Bill Clinton. I agree with you about people expecting too much in terms of personal integrity from Presidential candidates. Who wants to run the country unless they like power, control, and attention, right? Those kinds of character traits can also make one more inclined to get around the standard rules set for society if they want or feel entitled to something. I don't care about extramarital affairs when it comes to candidates and wish it didn't come up. I'm not fucking the President, so why should it matter to me? I do care about ethics, however, when it comes to business and financial matters. The President and his appointed Cabinet (along with Congress) do have a strong say in how my tax dollars are spent and how efficiently it's done; it's of ethical relevance. Interesting to see if Hillary runs in 2016. P.s. Don't try to strip me; I'm keeping my right to vote!

I don't think she will, mainly because she's aging out. Her best shot was 2008 when Obama swept in. He's likely to get another four now that the Republican dust has settled and Romney was the best they could do, but the way the pendulum swings it'll be a Republican after that and Hillary will have gotten too long in the tooth by that point. No, the first female president will be someone in the younger pool right now who isn't quite ripe yet, probably 2020 or 2024 if we are still pretending to be a democracy at that point.

I think what we want as a nation has been completely upended by money and special interests in politics. I think most people are neither hard right or hard left, they're somewhere in the middle. Unfortunately, there's no money to support a candidate there. I'd like a movement like this to gain traction: http://www.americanselect.org/ And I've said it 5 billion times already, but the Super Pacs have to go (to start the reform process). Allowing their existence was the worst decision ever. Commando Cunt Queen

After seeing the cookies he bakes the first thing that came to mind was Iggy telling me I should run a rehab for trolls. They look wonderful. Seriously.

Used to hang there a bit when I lived in So Cal. Great drinks and greasy food; fun ride there. Sometimes on the weekends one of the biker mamas would sell freshly baked peanut butter cookies with chocolate chips in the haystack area out front. Don't know what special ingredient she put in them, but man they were good. Yours look possibly even better.
