hah

Why are you interested in the misery of other people? You crime forum folks are creepy as fuck. Plus, you are all retarded for trying to solve crimes at home.

I actually can solve crimes at home because I bought the kit "as seen on tv" for $29.95 - In fact, I waited when the commercial told me to, and got my second kit free just by paying the separate shipping and handling.

Send me your address and I will send you the free kit so you can solve crimes at home too.

Yes, we do. Ham or turkey?

hah Looking forward to sharing that with my son. He gets a kick out of it when I show him something that's, how shall I put it, a little advanced for my generation.

Thanks Lady C. I will admit to being moderately concerned that I was going to fuck up. After all, who reads directions anymore? I'm a member of the PMF forum I mentioned in the Knox thread. That's the only other forum I've ever joined. That site is quite tame by comparison.

(09-19-2011, 06:10 AM)Lady Cop Wrote: the Knox trial hasn't attracted much discussion, unlike some other cases followed here. you'll see if you browse the 11 pages in the crime forum.
for example, today begins the trial of the second defendant in the horrific Petit family murders in Conn. many hundreds read/followed part one of that trial. we also have a monster 16,404 post thread that had to be shut down because it actually was impacting the server, and part 2 added re: 2 still-unsolved Ohio murder cases. it brought many new members here, we are the forum of record on that case.

if you have read Mock at all, you know free speech is encouraged and you will encounter the occasional insult. we don't babysit grownups like other forums do with heavy-handed moderation.

and as you have mentioned...crap reporting is my pet peeve. it's a running personal complaint in many of my threads. there is no such thing as true investigative reporting and professional journalism anymore. or it's quite rare. today's 'reporter' can't even spell, never mind be arsed to get actual facts right.

i did get the monty python reference. Smiley_emoticons_biggrin
i'm curious how you found Mock since we haven't covered knox case much.

I really don't want to drag you guys down the Knox black hole. There are threads on the James Randi Educational Foundation (JREF) site that are interminable. But I was searching for some trial related info and Mock came up third or so in the ranking so I started reading. That's when I noticed some misinformation being spread.

Normally I would have ignored it, but I perused a few other threads here and found them rather entertaining so I thought I'd join to chime in.

I probably shouldn't get hooked on another crime thread, but they can be compelling. Because reporting generally sucks, one really needs a community to ferret out the facts. And the different points of view one encounters are often quite interesting.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to getting familiar with Mock as time allows. This friggin' career really cuts into my social time Smiley_emoticons_smile

You know I wanted to post my exhusband's address, right? But I didn't. But he needs a clue...

I got my crime solving kit, too!
