precious little sweetheart 109 God i hope against hope she is alive.

We have a baby in our family, and this lil girl
has been well taken care of...those bottles that she
is shown using in the video, are quite expensive for bottles,
as in 15.00 for 2, if I remember correctly. They didnt buy her
bottom priced things. I recognize several of her items from
baby shopping, and they dropped alot of money on that sweet
little baby girl, as they should have.
It will blow me the fuck away if the parents are involved, even though
I wont be surprised.
I pray they find her alive. Im actually trying to will it into being at
this point...its heartbreaking.
You are missed...RIP Lady Cop

I agree it really does seem as though she was well looked after and truly loved. I can't bring myself to watch the videos of her they posted on you tube, its breaks my heart

As per the liveblog on KMBC, it looks like the family is going to speak with the media (not sure if it's just KMBC or other stations) tomorrow morning at 10:30am. It's been a bit since they've spoken (outside of other family members, etc) so it'll be interesting to see if we learn anything new.

This may not mean much, but I wonder how much wine the mother consumed that night. Possibly passing out and something happening to the little girl, she freaks and covers it up. I dunno, just throwing it out there.

Every time LC posts a pic of Bill Stanton, it cracks me up. He reminds me of a cab driver I met out in Cali.

I agree that baby Lisa looks happy and healthy in her videos, but as far as the high end baby clothes. She may or may not have dropped a bundle. My kids were both dressed in Baby Gap, Lands End, and old Navy, and I didn't pay much for them. Most were hand-me-downs from family members and others were bought at childrens resale shops. Since babies grow so fast, it didn't make sense to me to pay full price for anything they wore.

Maybe Lisa's parents did lay out a lot for clothing, but I highly doubt it. The cheapo box o wine she bought leads me to believe that they may have been thrifty shoppers.

yep. as i thought. it's ABC paying this guy.
i have to be gone a while today, i hope someone watches & reports the big sideshow performance...er...presser today.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A private investigator consulting the family of missing 11-month-old Lisa Irwin spoke one-on-one with ABC on Thursday.

Bill Stanton spoke about the range of emotions the Irwin family is going through as the search continued for missing baby Lisa.

"I am seeing a family's heart literally torn out of its chest," Stanton told ABC on Thursday. "How do you deal with a heart torn out of your chest? How many tears can you cry?"

Stanton was asked whether he thought Lisa's mother had anything to do with the baby's disappearance.

"She wants to be looked at," Stanton said. "She wants to be vetted, and then once everyone feels she's not a suspect, let's move on and get the bad guy. In my opinion, she understands, look at me, question me, let's get this done."

Stanton said the Irwin family was expected to speak with the media on Friday morning. It was not known if Lisa's parents, Jeremy Irwin and Deborah Bradley, would attend the news conference or if they would speak.

KMBC.com plans to stream the news conference live if it happens.

**1 PM NEWS CONFERENCE LIVE STREAM WILL APPEAR ABOUT 10 MINUTES BEFORE START OF NEWS CONFERENCE**

A private investigator who is representing the family of missing 11-month-old Lisa Irwin said that the family will be holding a news conference at 1 p.m. CT.

When asked why the family didn't join Stanton at the 10:30 a.m. briefing, Stanton said, "Right now they feel it's in their best interest not to say anything."

KMBC's Maria Antonia also asked why the family was granting interviews to members of the national media only.

"You have to understand this is their personal life," Stanton said. "Would you like me coming over and asking, this is the most horrific thing that could happen to anyone," Stanton said. "You (the local media) are doing a fantastic job about getting the word out, and they (the family) totally appreciate it." THAT WAS NOT AN ANSWER!

Stanton also said that at 1 p.m. he would be announcing that a renown expert is joining in the search for baby Lisa.

"A doctor who works in threat assessments who will be helping him, Dr. Marisa Randazzo". I don't know much about Dr. R, but a quick google search found that she has been quoted in the media on other types of cases and did do a Dateline show with BS in 2007. I don't see much in her history that suggests she has any expertise in finding missing children. More BS from BS?

This is all so weird to me. These parents are just not acting like innocent people that have a missing baby.

Unless the police advised me against it, I'd be out every freaking moment handing out flyers, joining in searches, begging the public for information (through every media source available).

Every day they look more and more guilty to me.

Agreed, User. It's really starting to bug the shit out of me that the family 'doesn't feel it's in their best interest' to face the local media at a press conference.

I also agree with LC, that Bill Stanton gave an absolute bullshit answer when faced with the local/national media question.

It's almost as if they are holding out for the best offer (money wise),
does anyone know if there was a life insurance policy out on this baby?

How about if the parents were/are financially stable?

The more I hear about the parents exploits, the more I feel that this disappearance was hatched for a financial gain.

I have the same bottles, they're made so no air gets in them. Not only are they expensive, but they are a pain in the ass to clean all the parts.

I've already cried twice reading this thread. I don't know what to make of it, other than thinking the parents accidentially did something and are covering it up.
