I also agree with some that women have more intuition than men, I guess just for personal reasons. Maybe that is why there are more women that are mediums. Just an opinion. However, my favorite medium is Edgar Cayce and he was a male. His work is very interesting to anyone who is "in to" this sort of thing. Here's a link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edgar_Cayce

Lady Cop, I don't know much about UK castles. I have been to one "castle/fort" but it was here in the US. It was Castillo De San Marcos in St. Augustine, FL. It's beautiful and is full of history. I was too young to fully appreciate it back then though. :/ I've heard it's got a lot of activity from spirits/entities! I'd like to go there overnight, or the famous Alcatraz. And thank you! [/quote] Ive been to St. Augustine...I spent my older teen years in Jacksonville, so it was always a quick trip and fun way to spend a Saturday. There are places in that building that make your hairs stand up on the back of your neck...

I remember the dungeon quite well. You had to crawl in that little hole to get there. Do you remember that? It smelled like piss
They uncovered that entry way some years ago and found the dungeon with massive amounts of human remains.

They went to sooo many castles she cant remember them all! It was my dream trip (im also VERY interested in UK history esp Shakespearean era and Tudor era...anything royal ) .... She felt all kinds of stuff in those castles...like people watching her, being touched when no one was around her, voices...but what stood out most to me about these tales was when she went to the tower of London and saw where Queen Elizabeth, Mary Queen of Scots and Anne Boleyn were all held when they were imprisoned. They werent allowed to go ONTO The Green, where Anne Boleyn and so many others were executed, but even looking out, she could feel a heavy feeling of paralyzing fear and sadness that came from outside in and swallowed her...it made her ears ring and she got sick to her stomach and couldnt breathe. Im sure it was the spirits that made her feel that way. I so want to go there.

While burning the sage we said things like "spirits it is time to move on now, this is our house now"..."you are free to go"..."let this smoke help you move on"..."go in peace", etc. WOW...My daughter and I just had a conversation about her imaginary friends she had when she was little. She said she could see them, talk to them, and they her, and they actually played together. They were twins, and wore dresses she explained, and I interpret to be the short and full-ish dresses they wore like on Little House on the Prairie. They had long hair but it was always braided in 2 braids. I called a friend from back home that would know the answers. She said there were twin girls with the same names of my daughters imaginary friends, that died tragically when they were young, around 7-9 years old. Exactly the age my daughter estimated them to be. My daughter said she never correlated the ghost thing with her friends, but now that she is older, she believes they were, because she could see through them, and when they left, they were just gone...and once she thought about it, she realized they never held the toys, she held the toys for them.

I do...awful smell... and I do remember when they found that room. It was a huge deal and was in all the papers and all over the news! I recall sitting on the wall with my back to the ocean, watching the blue angels fly overhead. They were performing because of some festival being held in St Augustine. I was alone, the rest of the group was on the ocean side of the wall, taking pictures. I felt something on my back, and just ignored it thinking it was the breeze....and got stronger and I turned around fully expecting to see a person there, wanting to ask a question there. There was no one. I would ignore it, and it would keep tapping/touching me to get my attention. I left, but never told anyone...I thought I was just going crazy or something. I was about 17 or 18 then.

Ugh...thats what I get for multi-tasking. I was referring to Queen Mary.
Sorry. LOL I just watched a tv show called Haunted History. They did an episode on some of Scotlands haunted history, and one of the castles was Mary Queen of Scots' and where her husband and lover died. I really should not watch interesting tv AND type thoughts. Sometimes they crisscross. LOL

'I was referring to Queen Mary'.
which Queen Mary was held or executed in the Tower?
10-08-2011, 11:37 PM
I tried to edit while the site was shutting down...because of the double post.
Not Queen Mary, her sister. I mistakenly added Mary Queen of Scots in the original post, I was wrong. She was executed at Fotheringay Castle, after being kept as a prisoner is several different castles throughout England. Elizabeth treated her with as much respect as possible because Mary was a fellow monarch, and her cousin. She never intended for Mary to be executed when she signed the warrant of execution, she only meant to scare her from continuing in her pursuit of freedom and Elizabeths throne. Sorry for the confusion....I couldnt fix/clarify before the site went down, and have been away from my computer since. Its cool to have found someone else who shares my obsession, if you will, with UK history.

Check out the work of British magician/illusionist/"psychic" Derren Brown, he has done numerous displays of psychic readings afterwards admitting he is merely a charlatan using "cold reading". He is like the Penn and Teller of psychics.

I believe ALL of us have psychic abilities but some people are just more in tune with it. I have the uncanny ability of knowing someone is going to die---usually in dreams.
One night I dreamt that my daughter's ex dance teacher died. In my dream she was walking down the sidewalk looking GORGEOUS. I said to her "Miss Roselie, you look beautiful. I thought you were dead" She said "I am dead". Two days later her obit was in the paper. She died the same night I had the dream! Just a little freaky.

However, not *all* mediums are legit, I'll give it that. Especially those psychics that want you to call them over a phone or mail them checks! I cannot believe people fall for that bullshit. How about the "psychic" Miss Cleo? Does anyone remember that basket case?

I think you are kinda ghey for starting this thread, but I won't be thumping any Bibles in your direction.
I visited sacred earth today. Natives had habitated there since at least the Clovis period (that's 10,000 years before Jesus for the tards that didn't take history/geology because God created the earth 5,000 years ago). It made me sad to see the thriving redneck civilization that replaced them. We should be ashamed. The rednecks only carve stupid shit to sell at the flea market. Those people made beautiful art that has lasted thousands of years. I don't think I would camp there. Not because of the spirits, but because of bugs. I fucking hate bugs. Anyway, back to your original post, don't masturbate. The ghost will think you are a perv.

hahahaha i guess she didn't see this coming!
A 'psychic' accused of being a charlatan has apparently been caught on camera wearing what appears to be a hidden earpiece. Sally Morgan launched a spirited defense after being accused of having information fed to her during performances - and has threatened legal action against anyone who repeats the claims. A statement on Sally Morgan's official Facebook page last Friday announced that she is 'to commence libel action in relation to press allegations that she is a cheat, following her show in Dublin'. |
