OKC Police Search For Missing 9-Month-Old Girl
OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma City police are searching for a 9-month-old girl who has been missing since Tuesday, October 4.
Police said they were notified of the missing child, Hananah G. Jones, by a DHS worker who was at the Park Place Apartments to pick up the child. As police arrived at the apartment, located at 215 Northeast 28th Street, they learned that Hananah's mother, Dadra E. Jones, was admitted to the VA Hospital Tuesday afternoon.
According to police, the DHS worker said she spoke with a medical social worker at the VA Hospital and was informed that Jones had not been able to find the child.
Police said Hananah was last seen on Monday by the manager of the apartment complex. According to police, the manager reportedly saw Jones holding Hananah above her head outside of her apartment. The child was not wearing any clothes. The manager said she then asked Jones if she was ok, and Jones replied "Alah will help me."
According to the police report, the DHS worker also reported that 50-year-old Steven Grant had been seen driving in Jones' Gray PT Cruiser. Police said Grant was living in the same apartment complex and recently moved out.
Police said they then went to Jones' apartment to make sure Hananah wasn't left in the apartment alone. But no one was in the apartment at the time.
Police said they do not believe this is a kidnapping case. Anyone with information regarding Hananah's whereabouts should call 911 immediately.
