I thought FOR SURE Tampa, FL would be on this list... and Atlanta, GA. It seemed like there was at least one rape, murder or aggravated battery (especially on children) every week when I lived in FL.

The sad thing is, most of the cases go unnoticed. I've heard with my own ears, someone important in our community ask the police to make sure a beating/attempted murder not be reported to media. It wasn't. No one knows except for the people who committed it, the guy in the coma, and his family. What was released from the media is that these people were "from out of town" and it wasn't premeditated-and that was the end of it. No questions asked!

I'm surprised New York City isn't up there. They've got hell's kitchen, after all, and driving through it scares the shit out of me.
