I know I'm always bitching about this...
I understand. It's a damned shame [during REM dreamtime] they didn't exterminate all of the native people for the betterment of a new Crown colony. Because of the white man's failure, you will pay to support these indigenous parasites FOREVER.

As I've explained, the wholesale discrimination that took place AFTER slavery up until and (in many areas) well past civil rights legislation is more relevant than you repeating when slavery ended. Stop pretending not to see validity in the points of others.

Thanks MiddleFinger for your input.

There was one king/queen, a few in their inner circle of affluence and the rest peasants. Comparing that to the current situation of the top economic 25% and the rest of us...getting further and further apart. Corporate greed, the horrific inner city schools where the children attend in poverty (not all), ...

Comparing blacks to "breeding like rats" is highly offensive to me. I know many who have just as much class, brains and integrity than any white I know.

Read about the systematic marketing to the poor, the % of billboards alcohol, tobacco, etc vs in white neighborhoods, the only food available often for miles while many don't have cars are convenience markets that rip them off...no access to fruits and veg's, no access to health care, petrified because of crime/shots to play outside, etc.

i think we all should have at least enough empathy to "wonder" how our children would have turned out, with life being as complicated, the force's they're up agst...in spite of that many turn out wonderfully.

Compared to you, even Hispanics are classy.

You people are mildly retarded and never progressed past basic reasoning/psychosocial development.

I, also, attended 5th grade and heard everything the teacher said. We ALL have those basic ideas. You two fucktards can't get past that to some deeper thinking. You are both still trying to be MLK by spitting obvious platitudes. You are cows.

I am the savior of the black race, not you, because I hold them to the same standards to which I hold myself. THAT is true brotherly love. You two are the racists, and the worst kind, because you don't even see how fucking offensive and wrong your excuse making is to an entire population.

I truly am astounded how stupid most adults are compared to Cracker. I rule you tards.

"SAN FRANCISCO – California's attorney general filed lawsuits against mortgage giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac on Tuesday, demanding that the companies that own some 60 percent of the state's mortgages respond to questions in a state investigation.

Attorney General Kamala Harris, whose office filed the lawsuits in San Francisco Superior Court, is investigating Freddie Mac's and Fannie Mae's involvement in 12,000 foreclosed properties in California where they served as landlords. She also wants to find out what role the companies played in selling or marketing mortgage-backed securities.

The essentially identical lawsuits ask the mortgage firms to respond to 51 investigative subpoenas that call on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to identify all the California homes on which they foreclosed. They also want the mortgage firms to reveal whether they have information on the decreased value of those homes due to drug dealing or prostitution, as well as explosives and weapons found on those vacant properties.

"Foreclosures not only affect the families who lose their homes, but also the safety, health and welfare of the entire community," the lawsuit said.

Harris also called on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to disclose whether they have complied with civil rights laws protecting minorities and members of the Armed Forces against unlawful convictions and foreclosures."

What in the fucking hell? Minorties have laws protecting them if they don't pay for their fucking house? That can't be right.

I think that may be concerning the fact that there have been numerous unlawful foreclosures for a variety of reasons, and that the treatment of minorities and members of the Armed Services has been particularly ugly. Apparently, many are not getting the same due process, grace period, or consideration they are supposed to. Apparently, there are many lenders that have been incorrectly or hastily foreclosing against the conditions set forth in the documentation, such as a soldier being killed or put on extended duty.

What part of breeding like rats do you find offensive? Is it the use of rat - or - the fact they are prodigious breeders compared to the white population? If it helps, maybe substituting rabbits for rats might make the undeniable truth more palatable for your tender sensibilities.

I read some of the complaints from different organizations. For military, they are protected by the Servicemember's Civil Relief Act (can't foreclose on them while they are on active duty unless they signed a waiver).

The groups representing minorities are claiming several different "laws":

1.) Complaints against predatory lending. They are complaining now that the government/mortgage companies lowered the standards so black people could buy homes and then didn't pay for them. Of course they don't blame the people who bought the houses (and they don't mention white people who did this, just the blacks and sometimes Hispanics, mostly blacks).

2.) Obama signed a law that is usually a state power (Dick is right about feds trying to usurp the power of the states) regarding tenant situations. Of course, again, they only mention black people, although I am sure white people are involved in this too. They are saying a tenant should have the right to regular eviction processes when the house they are living in is foreclosed (the 90 day thing).

3.) Some are quoting some United Nations legislation from 1965, the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (ICERD), that really has nothing to do with black people not paying for their own houses.

I think, as far as I can tell, the big stink is because companies won't modify mortgages as much as they say they will. I agree on this point. If anybody bought a home in the last ten years that an appraiser inflated, they should get a modification to an amount closer to the actual value. I think some minorities get to do that, and I have NO IDEA why they just don't do that for everybody. THAT is discrimination to me. Why leave out whitey?

The underlying feeling is that whitey can take care of himself and of not, too bad b/c the minorities have been shit on their whole lives and now we all have to make up for it. I say BULLSHIT. I lived in SW Florida for 7 years. I lived in a nice neighborhood. I had a $250,000 house that was worth around $80,000 the year before I moved back home all b/c of minorities. Houses getting foreclosed on, or rented out to 20 people, dogs running amock in the neighborhood, trash all over the yard, trach CANS blowing down the street and no one knew how to use a lawnmower on their own property. Mostly, people are a victim of their own cirsumstances. They made a CHOICE to live like that. Just like I made a CHOICE to sell the house & move back home. I don't want my kids thinking that having the fucking SWAT team ask you to leave the area while you're on your way to the bus stop in the morning is any way to act or live. Yeah, that actually happened.

The thing that impacts this issue is background and upbringing. It is not as black and white as 'no one knew how to use a lawnmower'. There are social issues and poor education and poor values instilled in them. Sometimes it's generational, but that is why they come from 'disadvantaged' backgrounds. Imagine if you were a young child growing up amongst that? What other issues would impact you? Poor nutrition? Poor education, poor attendance? Parent/Single parent family? Family abuse, domestic violence. Drug and alcohol issues? Mental Health? These are all components that impact on what an individual is left to deal with with growing up amongst that. It is a disadvantaged background. They do not have the same opportunities, privileges, advantages that most of us take for granted. The reason they are given help/assistance/handout whatever you want to call it is to try and even the playing field.

These policies are never given out by government agencies lightly and without investigation and research into this area. It's not just handed out to the them because they are lazy. That is not logical and does not make sense.
