11 out of 12 voted for death.
I would like to think the judge will go with LWOP, but nothing surprises me anymore when it comes to this case.

I think if Jodi were a man and Travis had been female they wouldn't have hesitated to send her to death row. I think that's probably accurate.
I saw on Noon News that vote was 11-1 and that one of the jurors said that the one holdout started out with anti-death penalty platform. If that's true it means that either the prosecution didn't do his due dilligence in jury selection, or the juror lied when asked.

Well, I think his words were something like she went into deliberations with a preconceived idea of how she was going to vote, which to me, translated to an "anti-death penalty" opinion....and yes, if true, your statement is correct.

The jurors said many things about the hold out juror... Including sending a note/question to the judge to remove said hold out and bring one of the alternates, that didn't happen. The hold out juror said she could give the death penalty however when asked and presented with situations in which she would vote for death penalty she couldn't come up with a single scenario nor agree on the ones presented before her. The hold old juror saw the death penalty as "revenge".
In my opinion I believe the juror lied to get on the jury and then followed her own agenda. there are other members of the jury that the death penalty is against their religion yet they were able to get past that. I would be angry as well, although they explained they had no Ill will to the hold old juror, who Ive heard was number 17. This juror also had a past experience in domestic violence and so that may have played into it as well.
Most the jurors were vocal in stating they didn't believe what Jodi said, that they do think she has borderline personality disorder but that it didn't cause her to do this. Where as the hold out juror felt that ja didn't know how to cope, yada yada yada, so she gave her a pass. Also the jury mentioned how much weight and faith they gave to the expert witnesses. They felt the defense put ta on trial and that the porn stuff had no importance in there judgment. They didn't believe there was physical abuse but did thing that emotional abuse went both ways.
That's what I remember from watching earlier, if I remember anything else I'll post it if no one else has.

Also many of the jurors wanted to express first how sorry they were for not being able to reach a verdict as they felt they failed at their job. But they also were frustrated with the lack of days of trial and half days. It ostracized them from friends and loved ones because even though they couldn't talk about it or even being on the case... It's not hard to figure out when two days a week were half days and they go back to work or work on Fridays. How many times they would have to walk out of a room around co workers and family, etc. that it was extremely hard not to be around it and to avoid it.

Oh Lordy, new development....Juror #17 has a past relationship with Prosecutor J. Martinez. In the late 90's, he prosecuted her then husband (divorced now) for burglary. Many questions, did juror know this fact? Hard to believe she didn't know this, did Mr. Martinez screw up, etc. These are the questions the news media are discussing. There was even talk of maybe another trial, if they determine juror lied, and/or lack of diligence on part of Prosecutor.

There better not be another one!
Meanwhile, over at TeamJodi, they're praising juror 17 and claiming the other 11 pedo-hugging jurors used every trick in the book to try to coerce the holdout juror into killing innocent Ms. Arias. Link to Jodi's adoring fan site: http://jodiariasisinnocent.com/
They even published a list of the jurors' names, except for the name of juror 17.
But, somebody on Twitter published the name of juror 17 and now the taxpayers are paying for her police protection.
Crazies everywhere.

As a result of the naming of Juror 17, there have been many death threats against her, so the police are now having to protect her...This world we live is just so crazy...Sigh!

Sucks the taxpayers have to pay for her protection.
I hope she's feeling some fear knowing there are people out there who want her dead. If she feels even a tiny bit of what Travis felt that will bring me a little satisfaction.

I doubt she is feeling fear. From what I have read she is treated like a celebrity in jail. She also gets supporters/fans that put money into her books. http://www.hlntv.com/video/2013/05/08/wh...mily-money

I also don't think she feels what Travis felt because she seems to lack empathy and lack feeling altogether. I don't think she feels anything. She seems so zombie like. Her eyes are so dark and creepy.

Oh I know Jodi will be just fine in the slammer. I was talking about juror #17, the flake who kept Jodi from death row.

I'd like to know if this is true. I got it from the Daily Mail so I'm skeptical.
Convicted boyfriend killer Jodi Arias is spending several hours a day video-chatting to fans from her prison cell.
The murderer, who narrowly escaped the death penalty for the brutal slaying of Travis Alexander in 2008, is said to be the most popular inmate getting video calls - many from girls as young as 15.
Photos have surfaced showing Arias pulling faces and showing off a Hershey's from the confines of the cell where she spends 23-hours-a-day.
Last Saturday alone, Arias took 27 video calls in jail with pictures from some of those calls having leaked.
Sheriff Joe Arpaio revealed Arias used the jails video system to tell two 15-year-old admirers they should use fake ID's so they could keep talking with her on the jail video call system.
'The mother told the girls to stop, and evidently the girls got back on and Arias advised them to get some phony ID's so they could get back on there because you have to be 18-years-old,' he said.

That story was true Duchess.
Sheriff Joe just slapped Jodi's wrists for it. The time from now until her sentencing will probably be a little less pleasant for her as a result.
Snip:
Sheriff Joe Arpaio said that Arias violated several rules, and the jail will enforce disciplinary restrictions for six weeks. According to Arpaio, there was evidence that Arias was trying to avoid having conversations monitored by using other inmates to make phone calls for her. She also is accused of speaking with minors through the jail's video visitation system.
"Arias needs to understand that while she is in my jail, she is to obey all the rules and breaking them has consequences," Arpaio said in a news release.
Other suspended privileges include being able to order commissary items. According to the sheriff, Arias sometimes spends around $100 in a week on candy and other food items. But for now, she will have to stick to the two vegetarian meals served daily by the jail.
Earlier in the week, Arpaio also banned 10 of Arias' visitors, including two 15-year-olds. All of them were found to have violated rules for visits, Arpaio said. Some used cellphones to take photos, and others used false names to gain access to Arias.

Arias' sentencing and transfer to maximum security state prison is gonna really pain her, I think. She's a freakin' celebrity with a network of inmate handlers and a fan club where's she at now.

Please, it has to! I don't feel like she is living an unpleasant existence. Punishment is supposed to hurt. I want her living in misery. No fucking video chats, no spending $100 a week to satisfy her sweet tooth. I want her writhing in agony.
