Do they ever fucking stop? Ever?

BAGHDAD — A wave of 16 bombings ripped across Baghdad Thursday, killing at least 69 people in the worst violence in Iraq for months. The apparently coordinated attacks struck days after the last American forces left the country and in the midst of a major government crisis between Shiite and Sunni politicians that has sent sectarian tensions soaring.

The bombings may be linked more to the U.S. withdrawal than the political crisis, but all together, the developments heighten fears of a new round of Shiite-Sunni sectarian bloodshed like the one a few years back that pushed Iraq to the brink of civil war.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility. But the bombings bore all the hallmarks of al-Qaida's Sunni insurgents. Most appeared to hit Shiite neighborhoods, although some Sunni areas were also targeted. In all, 11 neighborhoods were hit by either car bombs, roadside blasts or sticky bombs attached to cars. There was at least one suicide bombing and the blasts went off over several hours.

They say they are pissed at us because we occupy their lands. Then we leave and they do this shit to each other. WTF? What is the answer? Let Darwin take care of it? I would say to leave them to their own devices, but little kids live there and all little kids are cute as hell.

The camel fuckers are going to do what ever the hell they want to-They always have. The only thing our presence accomplished over there was to slow them down a bit, and keep the terrorists scrambled enough to keep attacks on American soil to a minimum, and I thank God we had service members willing to go over there and do that.

The children may be cute as hell, but how many of them are taught from a very young age to absolutely hate the opposing factor? I don't believe they just wake up one day and say "Praise Allah-I hate the Sunni's"

I kind of liken it to the gangs in NYC and other major hubs-they kill for territory and trading rights. If we're lucky, one day they'll just go and kill each other off-and the rest of us can have some piece-but that's just a pipe dream.

No and they won't in your lifetime. They have been fighting since the death of the Prophet Muhammad. He died in 632 AD.

Is it appropriate to use AD when referring to the Prophet Muhammad? Isn't the Christ reference tantamount to a Muhammad cartoon sketch?

Stupid fuckers. Right after we leave:

BAGHDAD – Iraq's Sunni vice president has denied Shiite accusations that he organized death squads, describing the charges as a trumped-up case brought only after the departure of U.S. troops about assassinations allegedly committed five years ago.

The arrest warrant issued against the highest-ranking Sunni politician threatens to tear apart Iraq's coalition government and perhaps kick-start another Sunni insurgency. It raised suspicions that Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, a Shiite, ordered the arrest of Vice President Tariq al-Hashemi as part of a campaign to consolidate his hold on power out of a fear that Sunnis in and out of Iraq are plotting against him.

Sunnis, the minority Muslim sect in Iraq, feared a new round of sectarian warfare could result from the charges, announced on Monday, the day after the last American soldiers left the country. The accusations date back to the height of the war in 2006 and 2007, when neighbors turned on neighbors and whole sections of Baghdad were expunged of one Muslim sect or the other.

I have always thought we should leave them idiots to kill each other. Iraq and Iran were at each others throats, we should have left them alone. I really do not care what they do to their own people. that is their culture.

We should have never gotten involved in the whole mess in the middle east...Afghanistan. Kuwait, Iraq, Iran. I hate, hate, hate the fact that so many young citizens of the US lost their lives over a lost cause. This fucking mess as impacted me directly, since my daughter and son lost friends in a "war" that was purely political. Yes I feel sorry for the children of those countries, but they are being raised by parents who only know how to hate outside influences. So basically the children are a lost cause.

Look at the map. Of course we would want a democratic Iraq (bordering Iran and Syria).

Every country in the world should be a democracy by now. I don't understand how they aren't. All people should be able to choose a leader/leaders, but most countries are NOT democracies. Only about 30 countries out of more than 200 countries in the world have a working democracy.

Stop and think about it for a minute... How fucking backwards is that?

It is mind-blowing.

I don't think it's right for us to invade other countries & then try to force them to live like we do. I'll never have anything nice to say about that & fuck all if I will ever support it.

I agree were better off just letting the weak die.

Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.

I do agree, though. Our men and women shouldn't have to die because of their animal like ways. I don't get into debates much but when it comes to this shit. FUCK YAH!
