I honestly don't see what there is to be ashamed of if one is guilty of, let's say, kissing up to Duchess. This is one place where I can not give a shit what people think. So what if someone kisses up. I mean really. So?

First, you did go through an ass-kissing phase with Sinister. It was just your typical fake girlfriend bonding drama bullshit, so don't worry.
Second, the purpose of kissing ass depends on the people involved. For example, I might kiss some ass to do some flirting while signaling that I feel they deserve to be adored. I am not surprised that you need to have these types of things explained to you, soups. You aren't used to people being sweet on you unless there is, as you allude to above, "something you can do for them." Your comment is a pretty clear window into the lame sadness that is your life.

No see not one of you answered the question of what is to be gained by kissing the ass of anyone here. Nothing. A person might kiss their bosses ass to get a better raise. You might kiss your neighbors ass so he will cut your grass when he does his own. But ass kissing anyone here gets you nothing.
Except maybe MF. Him ass kissing Duchess gets him some pity flirting and something to fantasize about while he humps his body pillow.
