I know some people are born "challenged" but for all the rest can being stupid equate to being lazy & not applying themselves to learning? I happen to believe that knowledge is power and I like to learn.

I had a teacher tell my parents that I was mentally lazy, that I only did enough to get by, that changed through time but I can see where different perceptions come from.
