police have said they are aware of that figure.
frankly i think they're stumped, frustrated and at a loss right now.
they need a break or a body.

I saw on GMA this morning they were talking about it and showed that man highlighted in their video, I was trying to find it to post but won't load but it's says it's not available in my area. I wonder if he is the one that came forward, police say they have spoken with three and still looking to speak with two people.

I think you're right LC, it's so sad, I am so sick of these children going missing, in this case I don't think the parents had anything to do with it, you never know but still. She is such a beautiful little girl.

II find it hard to believe if they just abducted a child that they would be walking so slow with a “unconscious” child in their hands.

BUT the "little person" in that video, could that be her? AND where is her house in this video?

The person who is seen in their yard, is that her yard?? This was several seconds after the group walks by....I just don’t know much about this video. Where it was taken, etc. Are they walking to the house, from the house?

The house is about a block away from where the video is. It is said they believe the 5 people were walking from a bar nearby and because it is so close to the house, on the night in question they are looking to talk to them to see if they in fact saw anything.

Are they walking toward the house of the little girl? Or away from it...so hard to tell in the video.

I just found this article....it answered a lot of my questions.

They were walking toward the house, 3 women and 2 men.

And the lurker.... I wonder if they think the lurker is a person of interest and want to know if any of the group saw him.... they have now spoken with 3 of the 5 people, at least they are getting somewhere with that.

I wonder if anything showed on the security camera from Moore's, the owner said he saw twp men come out and look around (the dad and uncle I believe), he had high tech security cameras, I don't think LE has released anything regarding that footage, I wonder if anything was seen and that is why, or maybe nothing was seen?

*Sigh*

oh brother! presser just now...the video everyone has seen had incorrect time stamp, it was Saturday night/early Sunday, NOT Friday night when she was "kidnapped"! they have talked to 3 of the parties and the video camera company. hoping to get video for the Friday. 22

It's all in a day's work, but that sucks. I agree that LE hasn't a clue.
And I am pleased that Mom and Dad are keeping it local, and not going on Nancy Grace.

Wow wrong video, seriously?! So they are saying this was actually from the sat night/sun morning? Hmm wouldnt there be a lot of cars in the area and police tape etc sine the had the neighbourhood taped off and a heavy police presence? I am sure LE watched the entire video, so wouldnt they have know from the beginning it was the night after Isabel disappeared since there would have been a command centre in the area too? I'm confused

i felt all along that video was a big fat red herring.

those people were just strolling along and LE threw the public a bone to gnaw over. they are up to something. trying to flush someone out. playing dumb even.

So you think they knew all along it was not from the right date? LC would LE just take the video from the company and their word on the date or would they verify themselves?

I'm going to try and get on the computer later (if my poorly LO cooperates and goes to bed) to try and map out the area of where was taped off and if it would be visible in the video, I just don't see how this would be from the night after.

So I wonder of what you are thinking, maybe they do have an idea of who/what they are looking for?

the police in Tucson are either inept or they are running a game. i can't decide. they need to replace Pacheco as their spokesman. or stop the say-nothing pressers which produce nothing but frustration.

i am also underwhelmed by the parents.

now there is all kinds of speculation about a sexual assault of 3 little girls in a bedroom 10 miles away. i'm not biting on that either.

honestly i usually have a gut feeling about cases, this one has not given me strong feelings in any direction. except i don't think a stranger took her.

Awww look at her, bless her little cotton socks, Isabel looks like such a sweetheart, looks like this could be going the same way as so many others - Aliayah, Lisa, Sky, Kate and so many others.

ETA: I didn't end up doing the maps, nothing works properly on my computer.

KOLD
Isabel Celis' parents returned separately to their home this morning. Both were accompanied by investigators.

Shortly after 11:30 today, investigators arrived in two cars and entered the house through the garage with a man who appeared to be Sergio Celis. After he left, Rebecca Celis arrived.

Police would not confirm their identities.

Meanwhile, the house is now decorated with two new banners calling for the safe return of Isabel Celis.

There are no confirmed reports that the Celis family has returned to live in the residence on Tucson's east side, and it is unknown who placed the banners on the home.

Isabel Celis was last seen in her home 13 days ago.

i should know better, but here goes:
nancy grace says "sources" reveal police are looking at the "uncle" who is also called a "cousin". Justin Mastromarino.
he has a record, distribution of weed and DUIs.
she stopped short of saying his name, but it was clear.

we saw him once, here:

Celis' uncle, Justin Mastromarino, says the girl's parents are distraught. "Everything goes through your mind," he said. "You're angry. You're upset. You're frustrated. You're confused."

That was Nancy's bombshell news last night wasn't it? I heard about but decided not to watch, I feel like punching my t.v when she is on.

The parents gave an interview to the Today Show, it aired this morning, I caught the tail end of it, so here it is:

On Thursday, Becky and Sergio Celis spoke out publicly for the first time about the disappearance of their daughter Isabel, who was kidnapped from her bedroom in the middle of the night nearly two weeks ago.
When Sergio last saw the 6-year-old, he told TODAY’s Ann Curry, it was just before she went to bed. She had a baseball game early the next morning, April 21, and her mom had braided her hair. He said the last thing he remembers is “just that sweet little face.”
Becky Celis described Isabel as a loving and affectionate “girly girl” who “loves to get her makeup on and paint her nails, do your nails, do my nails, do her hair. She loves go out and play with her brothers, play hard in the dirt and come back in and get herself all girled up again.” Calling the first-grader a “beautiful baby girl,” she said Isabel gives her parents hugs all the time and tells them she loves them.

Though the police have received hundreds of leads, there is still no suspect in the case. There have been no calls or demands for a ransom, though the family is offering a $50,000 reward for information.
Missing soldier’s mother, husband ‘keeping hope alive’
Police chief Roberyo Villasenor of the Tucson police department said both parents have taken polygraph tests. “We look at everyone to include the family. It’s not that we are saying the family’s responsible, but we’re not saying the family’s completely clear. Everyone is a suspect until we find out otherwise.”
Becky Celis said she recognizes that the scrutiny is necessary. “It’s nothing we can’t handle,” she told Curry. “We want her back, so whatever it takes to get her back, we will do.”

“And to whomever did this, please look at her, look at her, she’s beautiful,” Sergio Celis added. “She doesn’t deserve this. She deserves to be home in her room, playing with her brothers, and just loving life the way she does.”
Sergio said that while the Celis family communicates every day with investigators, authorities have kept the them at bay. “We understand that they can’t bring false hope, but at the same time, we’re desperate," Mr. Celis said. “We’re extremely frustrated that it’s taking so long and we understand that they’re doing absolutely everything possible ...we do feel sometimes that they’re wasting time with us even though we have to be under the closest scrutiny. But my goodness, she’s still out there.”
“We just want her home,” Becky Celis said, and called for prayers for Isabel and the investigators, as well as prayers that the person holding Isabel will “have a change of heart and want to bring her home.”

Detectives have scoured the neighborhood, as well as nearby lakes, parks and landfills, and have contacted Mexican authorities to distribute Isabel’s picture along the border.
“The police have been very quiet and strategic in what they’ve uncovered in their investigation,” said criminologist Casey Jordan. “Remember that they know a whole lot more than what the general public knows.”
Volunteer efforts have included the distribution of fliers and posters, as well as a bake sale and car wash to raise money. A softball tournament to raise funds for the family will be held this weekend.

I still don't think the parents are involved, the cousin/uncle, hmm I don't know....

i did not feel waves of honesty from the father.

i also want to know if they were paid for this appearance. they don't talk to their LOCAL media.

The father seems a bit 'off' at times, I don't know if it's because he is not being truthful, or it's just the way he is.

I am sure we will find out soon enough if they were paid, will probably be Nancy's next 'bomshell'
