That's a very kind statement.
Unfortunately, I have a mediocre and uneducated palate.
Others in my family can detect miniscule amounts of any element in a particular dish . . . not me.
But then, that's the way I am with wine, too.
While others may wax on the subtle notes of velvety oak, black cherry and a hint of leather . . . all the while tripping lightly over the tongue and without cloying . . . I'm saying one of the three:
1.) This is delicious!
2.) I'd cook with this!
3.) Alright! Who's the wise-ass who served me this cat piss? Yuck!

Have you ever had terracotta pie? I recently found out what that was and I guess you learn something new everyday.

I don’t know what the world has come to when you can’t even enjoy a slice of pie in peace anymore.

I cleaned out the fridge, but it was the opposite of making soup, I tossed a bunch of stuff, now i don't feel like eating or making anything. (I'm snacking on some hiker food/snacks)

A slice of homemade bread toasted and spread with butter and lingonberry jam. I could have eaten four more slices, but I have better control over food than I do alcohol.

Mrs. Biggie made some homegrown Plum jelly and Fig jam, she also just made me a White Tommy Bahama shirt for some festival where you wear white, I was fucking shocked.

Those are proper chips. It annoys me when restaurants have fish and chips on the menu and their chips are bagged frozen French fries. Why even have it on the menu if you can’t be bothered to make a real chip.

I had coconut shrimps for dinner. I thought I would love them, but I didn't think they were as impressive as I've been led to believe, they were only okay. Bummer.
