Okay, that's disturbing. Probably not a violation of any law or rights, but it pisses me off. Political activists trying to use guilt and shame within a constituency in order to motivate its individuals (to vote). A strategy ripped straight out of the Organized Religion Playbook. Invasive.
It looks like the tactic has been used in other states. I have never seen it myself.

It was used in our last Presidential election, If you didn't vote for obama you were a racist.
It is still being used by this administration, If you don't agree with the Presidents policies you're a racist and it's because he might be half black, half swedish and half irish.
Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.

Never seen it in my backyard either; hope I never do. My neighbors know what I choose to tell them and show them, period. I don't want what I do and don't do published and distributed, with regard to any personal activity (including voting).
One day I'll tell you about my multiple "exchanges" with late pm census takers showing up at my door. Talk about invasive. I'll post it in the Drunken Thread next time I have a chance to get a little tipsy. Best recalled while under the influence.

Bad Dick!! Bad, bad, bad! Stop derailing Clad's post!
I think Clad can speak for himself in that politically correct long winded way of his,if he wants me to stop he will have to speak up.
If I'm PC it's always inadvertant.
I hate everybody as much as most people I just don't hate them until I meet them (unless they're idiots).
I could expound at lenght on this but will save it under the circumstances.

I do believe that we're becoming somewhat less civil as a society. You see it in politics and online. 20 years ago you mother fuckers wouldn't have had a place like Mock to spout your vile vitriol. Now you can "defriend" people, harass them anonymously online...the possibilities are endless.
It seems that PC is way worse than ever. People used to be able to hate anyone for any reason and they weren't judged for it. Well, of course, if someone was a bigot he might turn off a lot of people but no one was expected to apologize for being a bigot. Now it seems like you're supposed to like someone BECAUSE they are one minority or another. I don't expect anyone to like me because I'm black or purple so why should I like someone cause they're crippled or Russian.
I have a God given right to hate whomsoever I choose and the damn government should stay the hell out of it.

I have I called you a retard today? If not consider to have just happened.
both of those things were moral issues and had nothing to do with political correctness.
Today politically correctness means you have to put some other country in front of American.
chinese American,Japanese American, Retard American"that one is you", but do you understand it?
Yes!
Hollywood puts any low life garbage they want on film and TV while the US government turns the reigns over to anyone who wants them. Hillary chides foreign dictators for shooting their civilians but she'd be riding in the tanks if things went crazy here. Do you really think the US government is selling tanks to police departments for traffic enforcement?

It's really easy to get peoples' names, addresses and phone numbers more quickly than in the past due to technology. I've gotten used to that and there are a lot of pluses if the information/access isn't abused by sniffers and losers.
But, actually distributing to your neighbors info about your activities is over the line, imo. What's next? Did your neighbors show up when summoned for jury duty? Which heartless bitch neighbors failed to support the local girl scout troup by not investing in thin mints? I'm extrapolating, but I find the strategy discomforting on a few levels.
I'm not gonna think about it.

When did it become unacceptable to just call everyone who is a citizen of this country simply an American?
Nothing wrong with that. Deflect, deflect...again. What does that have to do with the original post?

Of course you have the right to hate anyone you choose. But peer pressure when it's right isn't necessarily a bad thing. Hitler hated Jews; was it politically incorrect because some people disagreed with his beliefs?

You should have just admitted to being a retard.

The Solution:
Just kidding around, Clad. Seriously, how do you think that the government is discouraging you from hating (or loving, for that matter) any individual or group over another? I haven't personally had that experience/feeling. Curious.

Somebody disagree with this statement with a straight face. I bet I can find evidence of it even here at Mock. You can't say he's a shitty president (and he is, and you retards voted for a man with VERY LITTLE politcal experience) without people thinking you wear a pointy hat.
He's a shitty president.
And he's a nog. Always giving his people a hookup...

You find this sentiment echoed throughout all the world's religions as well as in most "noble professions" requiring some sort of oath. First, do no harm.
We live in a world where people judge "otherness" as wrong and therefore something to destroy. It is one of our baser instincts and has been the guiding force behind some of our darkest and most shameful historic events as human beings. We tend to want to kill anything that isn't exactly like ourselves, and worse, we tend to lash out and destroy anyone who tries to preach acceptance and tolerance.
We are not a welcoming species. We've been doing each other in over imagined differences ever since two cavemen on one side of the river saw a third on the other side and said, "Hey that guy's on the wrong fucking side, let's go bash his head with a rock." We celebrate our most murderous or bloodthirsty humans with immortality, and if any philosophers step forward to point out the error of this we make them drink hemlock or hang them from a cross.
It has always been this way. We are not nearly so evolved as we like to imagine ourselves...
It all comes down to gene wars, and it all can be blamed, ultimately, on the fact that species are born out of a competition for resources.

I hate people who confuse political correctness with health and safety legislation.
"I can't take a hot drink from the waiting area to the salon chair, its political correctness gone mad!"
No its over the top health and safety legislation caused by scum making ridiculous compensation claims.
