Keith Luke of Brockton, handcuffed and shackled, entered innocent pleas in Brockton Superior Court today to a string of charges stemming from what authorities called a racially motivated attack that killed two people and critically wounded a third on Jan. 21.

I understand the whole 'insane' plea... but how convenient it is for him to simply plea not guilty and then insanity. We all agree he's crazy, as ANYONE who commits such acts are NOT ALL RIGHT IN THE HEAD.... but he CAN NOT go unpunished and should not simply be placed in a mental institute simply because the court system cant BELIEVE he's sane enough to do such crimes.
