Only happened twice, on two consecutive weekends a few years ago. There are some really great bistros and restaurants in the Castro district, which is healthy walking distance from my house. Some of them have casual outside seating and all have a full bar. Great on Sundays when the weather's nice. There are a few gay "nude culturalists" or something like that living in the Castro. Not that big a deal having them pull up chairs right next to me because one of them is really cool and funny, just kinda weird being all dressed and eating with the naked guys. So I stopped going to that block for brunch.

In my younger days, I went to a nude beach with some friends a few times. Getting naked in public is pretty damn awkward if you ask me.

I was in a nudist colony with my family as a kid for one summer, it was okay as long as everybody was running around that way. Personally I don't have a problem with people who are naturists but the ones who insist on going out in regular public that way are just attention whores and deserve mockery.
