a victory over seattle followed by the season premier of wd would make for a perfect sunday on the 12th

Wow, Rick got his balls back.
And the wheels go round and round at Terminus. So who was the guy at the end?

Rick has gotten his balls back; the group straight-up slaughtered the Terminus cannibals. Don't know what to think about the tearful cowardly pastor. Anyway, just watched the last episode -- guessing it's Noah in the bushes behind Daryl and that the group is gonna end up busting into the hospital to save Carol and Beth. I really like Carol's character. Hope she doesn't get killed off.

Yep, thats my thoughts as well.
Who is the black guy at the end of the last episode of last season? He hasn't showed up this season yet. The cowardly pastor will end up getting eaten somewhere along the line. Tick and the church crew will go get Carol and then head off to catch up with the short bus crew.

When I read all of your comments it makes me want to tune in. Sometimes I think about a Breaking Bad marathon when I see others comment about that show too.

He is supposed to be from season 1, but I missed those. He followed them (Rick and co) into the woods off the tracks after the adventures at Terminus.

Wow -- I totally missed that scene.
His name is Morgan and he and his son saved Rick's life and took him in season 1 -- taught Rick about walkers and all. Morgan's wife was a walker who kept coming back to the front door of their house, but Morgan couldn't bring himself to shoot her. Morgan was back for a couple of episodes in season 2 or 3 -- no more son and pretty much lost his mind -- all alone in a building hoarding an arsenal of guns. Kinda turned on Rick for a minute. When Rick left him -- we didn't know what became of Morgan. I hope he shows up this season. I liked Morgan.

Ahhh, I do remember that episode, Rick had just gotten out of that hosp he woke up in and found that guy and his kid.
Don't remember the others though

I thought the second half of the season closed very strong. Lots of really good character development and story line. The final episode made me wish they were all 90 minutes long. Morgan is back in a big way it would seem. I'm glad to see that as he's a great character to add to the mix.
Now to deal with the wolves...

I've never watched a single episode of it but a couple times over the Winter I thought I might like to binge watch. I feel that way about Breaking Bad too.

I binge watched Breaking Bad. Really enjoyed it... although just before the end, like six episodes left, I had to stop watching and take some time. It got pretty intense... but then finished it up a few months laters in a weekend. Really good show.
I recommend the TWD. The survival/character interaction is what keeps me on board.

I've heard great things about both these shows. I'm not a big TV watcher. GoT for sure, the Today Show and at night I get in bed with my iPad and CNN. I will sometimes watch things that are recommended but I have the attention span of a 2 yr. old so something really has to grab me immediately for me to get, and stay, interested.

The good thing about the character of Morgan is that he's a blank slate, his character was essentially a cameo in the comic series and therefore the writers don't have to feel trapped by story arcs etc. Even better, the actor who plays Morgan is a fantastic actor who absolutely clicked with Andrew (Rick) Lincoln in the previous outings. The episode where he'd lost his mind was particularly powerful stuff. I am excited for next season. I even dig Carol now that she's a badass. I'll go ahead and stop predicting her imminent death.

The hope that the zombies finally give Rick's group their comeuppance is what keeps me on board. Rick's group is why the world can't have nice things. Can't we all just get along? Seriously, I'm starting to think Rick's group is the problem, not the other communities. The real virus isn't the zombies, it's Rick's group.

I thought the last season was good too.
I don't care about Sasha or the yellow-bellied pastor or the red-headed dude's ex, though. If it's time to lose people, I hope it's one or two of that boring trio. I agree that Rick was a dick at the end of the season, Clang. Aside from him and Carol though, I thought the rest of Rick's group mellowed out a lot. I think if I'd been in Glenn's place outside that revolving door, I probably woulda killed that sucker right then and there. That was intense. P.s. I think Corl is gonna get laid before you do Clang; he was kinda putting the moves on that little philly last episode. |
