I LOVE the way MOCK is. Even tho I don't interact with many of the posts I enjoy reading them. Cracks me up when people go from being intelligent to snarky from one post to the next. I joined because of the crime forum and LC----really miss her and her posts and will for a long time. She made me feel welcomed here in an otherwise scary place!

So Duchess---what I'm saying is---keep up the good work---you are doing a great job. But I do think you have to give new people a chance to get comfortable posting here.

People register daily. They lurk & read, make the decision to join and once faced with starting an intro thread they are at a complete loss. 78

Yeah...an intro thread. That would have been easier than coming here initially to sort of troll Ma and ESAD and then getting outed in a big way.

You're using the word incorrectly, even, "so to speak".

Really?

Segregation - the separation or isolation of a race, class, or ethnic group by enforced or voluntary residence in a restricted area, by barriers to social intercourse, by separate educational facilities, or by other discriminatory means.

I discriminate against tards & those with a nigger attitude, not to mention low class assholes.

Dang, if you put it that way. . .
(I'm forced to agree...)

I was joking. Besides, I think everyone here already knows enough about me and in some cases too much about me. Also, I'm quiet and reserved in real life and don't like talking about myself because usually I sabotage myself by thinking the stuff I want to share is dull or uninteresting.

You said yourself you spent 8 hours researching LC when she posted about her mom. Go find it yourself, wingnut.

Who spends 8 hours looking up someone on the internet? I don't even have that kind of time for someone I really want to find much less someone from a forum. As much as I miss LC and respected her, I have no interest in looking her up on the net. I did want to read her obit but that's about it.

Edit to add: I would find stories about LC working in LE and making arrests interesting. But again, I wouldn't spend 8 hours looking for stuff.

You could do an intro thread and leave out the cross dressing part. There must be other interesting parts to your life besides that. Oh and the living with your mother part. And the unemployed part.

BTW, the new medical center in CP is hiring.

I kind of liked when we had Newbie Hell...were we could see how they stood up to interrogation.

But if they join, post a proper intro post..and join in as soon as activated, then I say give them a shot
Not newbie hell...but just a day or two of limited access to see how much they participate. I know when I first join a forum, I am taking time to read older shit, and also posting as much as I can, to get my name recognised. I think if a newbie shows that kind of interest, they may be a keeper/
But, some you just cannot see the real them until they have been here a while. MA was an idiot.

Newbie Hell was one of my favorite portions of the forum and a hell of a way to see what a person was made of. We always found the button that would set them off. Sometimes we could almost hear them snap.
