The black kids are too busy shooting each other to stand still for pictures.

America needs to bring back the “Mentally Challenged Hospitals!

Not all of the people shooting people up are "mentally challenged" cars.

Start by locking up the entire white house, both political parties, and all of the politicians.

The long 4th of July weekend had 16 mass shootings. Fifteen people were killed, 94 injured and it happened in 13 states as well as DC.

Where else in the world does this happen outside of war?

The vast majority of shootings happen in a small number of big cities that have strict gun control. Chicago, Philly, Detroit, St. Louis, LA, and 1 or 2 others. Take them out of the equation and America goes from 3 to something like 193 re global gun violence stats.

Mass media doesn't tell you this because it doesn't support the argument that there isn't enough gun control legislation.

The best kind of gun control, IMO, would be shutting down arms proliferation, and America is probably #1. The other major arms proliferators are the other permanent members of the UN Security Council, China, Russia, the UK, and France, plus Israel.

It's ironic because the ostensible purpose of the UN Security Council is to maintain international peace and security, but what it does in practice is the opposite.

It's not a political problem, Duchess. It's a problem of unaccountability and ignorance. If you don't see the big picture, you can't diagnose the problem, and if you can't diagnose a complex problem, you have no chance at all of solving it.

Once society begins to accept, tolerate, normalize and believe behaviors, attitudes and practices of a "marginal" populous, only the naysayers to such acceptance will be labeled "mentally challenged" or a "threat to society".

But the fact that this is not Gaza-

Schools and churches

Yes it is awful all over, go with your blanket statement or your "so and so has it worse" statement.

This sort of conversation from you does nothing for me.

We're getting a taste of what millions of people around the would have to endure on a daily basis because we give weapons to brutal governments and warlords.

Pretty ironic, if you ask me.

That is not how I look at this.

These are 2 different issues, unless you want to take back your Catholic faith and just say "everything is because of sin"

I have plenty of issues but catholicism has never been one of them.
