very interesting. Facts pulled from op-eds and studies that confuse correlation with causation. "People who get guns are more likely to be violent, because they have arrest records."
No, that means people with arrest records get guns, not the other way around. The bias is so unabated it's astounding.

If they had smart guns (my idea) that gun wouldn't have been operative after it was stolen.

What would be the point of that? That's a bad idea. All it tells you is where the bullet came from. By then dead is dead. My idea is much better.

I'm not dissin' that poor family whose daughter was shot & killed with a stolen gun on the San Francisco waterfront but this morning it's being reported that they are a little peeved that the POTUS has not called them.

Don't kick yourself too hard Cutz.
You failed no more (or less) to distinguish correlation from causation in reaching an unabated biased conclusion than did the author of the linked article.

There's a higher correlation of arrest records and gun ownership, without any inference as to which egg caused which chicken. I guess I should have said, "No, that COULD mean." Happy?
Doesn't change the fact that poorly supported propaganda is used by both sides of the gun debate to argue their cause.

Hasn't the silence from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue been pretty deafening? Plenty of other shootings Obama's been front and center flapping his mouth, but for some reason he can't even comment on this one?
A shooting involving an innocent victim, who was gunned down by an illegal alien in a sanctuary city will never garner a comment from a person who is pro-illegal alien and pro-sanctuary city. He can't call the parents because they don't fit his agenda, and singing 'Amazing Grace' at her funeral wouldn't have earned him any 'street cred' from his peeps.
He's a disgrace.

There's a lot of interesting discussion/debate surrounding the case.

I guess Obama doesn't think: "Kate could be my daughter".
Like he did Trayvon Martin, as his son.

It does reflect poorly on Obama when he comments on specific crimes against blacks, against Muslims, or committed by people who he believes could have been deterred by new gun controls he advocates.....but then stays silent when the politics surrounding a high-profile crime don't fit his agenda or actually work against it. IMO.

Yea, I haven't heard him say anything about all the blacks shooting blacks in Chicago, despite all the anti gun legislation there.

I have heard Obama address gun violence in Chicago's black community a couple of times Six, when he was also addressing the Newton shootings and the need for stronger families and gun control.
