A friend sent me this. It's a baby giraffe being born. I had the pleasure of watching this live one time at the Philadelphia Zoo.

Very cool ... evolved to be standing within the hour and walking, out of survival pressure. Love it.

It impressed me that the sire was actually very interested in the calf, and involved in getting it up and moving around. What a fall though!! I'm surprised they don't break their necks with that landing. Shame they didn't catch that moment on film (when it actually popped out).
