Do you have one ?...Something you feel a lil' "odd" admitting to ?
I stuff all my hair under an old Hooters cap, {my hair would identify me in a New York minute} take the farm truck & go to yard/garage sales, flea markets, etc...I love 'em !...I "see" potential in junk & when I come across old watering cans I damn near swoon I am so overjoyed. :

I love the idea of grabbing a thermos of coffee and heading out on a cool, crisp autumn morning and antique picking on the back roads of small, quaint townships. I envy you for that.
It is a romantic notion that is generally lost today as well as the civility of doing so.

Living here in Southern California, usually things are kind of hectic. If Liz and I steal a couple of hours and take our lawn chairs down to the beach and watch the seagulls feed with the brisk yet darken skies turning lighter as the sun rises behind us, we count ourselves grateful.
Afterward we'll stop off at a local (non-Starbucks!) breakfast shop for coffee cake and fresh hot black coffee.
That's a treat for us and a guilty pleasure, as generally it is up at the crack of dawn catching a coaster train ride south to San Diego for work.
