Also..................
My wife should be facing that in about 6 yrs and my daughter will be 16 at that time. I am ahead of the game because I am planning plenty of fishing trips with my son during those curious years of self aknowledgment. I might even buy a camp up north.

Well, I tried to play along with this being a "Vitamin" thread and screw with you about drinking and memory problems. But, it's clear you wanna talk about going through "the change".
This is a damn "Menopause" thread thinly disguised. You're not sneaky rams, but at least you're smart enough not to start a thread with that title. People actually click on this one. So, I hope you get a lot of helpful well-meaning advice and the vitamins help you to stop flashing soon.

That last dwarf could have been an Arias defense claim if she was a few years older. She's already beating the stuffing out of the second to last dwarf.

Have you tried Silver Sneakers at the YMCA? It's an exercise program for senior citizens and could also be beneficial for treating menopause symptoms.

At 48 I don't qualify. I did receive a post card from AARP though.

You're never too young for exercise, ramsey.
Focused breathing exercises such as belly yoga have been shown to reduce hot flashes during perimenopause as much as 50 percent, according to studies done at Wayne State University.
^ She's not much younger than you; she's doing it without silver sneakers.
Give it a try and post a pic; it could even count as your belly pic.

Not to young for exercise. Too young for Silver Sneakers.

If I didn't have work to do, I'd take you up on it!
But, you'd need to make me 10 or more Mimosas to get me into a state where I'm thinking and comprehending at your pace, ramsey. I understood your post.
Take off your shirt, breakout the handheld fan, and read my comment to it again. Take a minute and consider it in context with the couple of posts above it and the mention of "silver sneakers". See how it all ties together?
Ah nevermind; break out the alcohol. I'm in.

Remember when Ramsey won 'Mock Idiot of the Week' an unprecedented 9 straight weeks?
Might be time to bring that award back...

I can also make you a Bloody Mary. I'm doing Mimosas cuz it's Friday. I need a buzz before I attempt the Harlem Shake.

Why don't you go pay attention to your loving wife MS? Maybe she will let you borrow your balls for awhile so you can be a man and attempt to have an original thought

Nah, MS, I'm cutting Ramsey a break.
It could be a combination of the hot flashes and an unfunny mock that's slowing her down here.
Plus, she's getting ready to serve up Mimosas and Bloody Marys with Geritol backs this morning. I'm gonna be nice too. I don't want her to go all 'pausal on me.

There are several women at my club who break out a bunch of fans when they're riding eliptical machines and such. Most people don't like the fans (myself included).
Anyway, one day this 50+ y/o guy comes in and sees them and says something like "look, it's the menopause mafia". At least one of the women got in his face about that. She was not happy.

And for your mocking enjoyment, what vitamins are good at combating th symptoms of Peri-menopause? Fuckin hot flashes are killing me. I can't keep ripping my shirt if in public. People take offense even though I have on a pretty bra. "Shrug"
You might need Iron and Magnesium for more energy, a spoon of molasses is full of Iron, eating eggs helps with energy, subliminal B12 daily, best way to take Magnesium is with Calcium.
