Is it true that there is a difference between regular ground pepper vs grinding your own pepper corns as needed?

In your opinion is sea salt a better option than table salt?
As I've said before, Baby doll is a chef. Her specialties are seafood and soups. She has taught me the ways of seasoning as she learned it. For meats, I only use kosher salt now (i used to use sea salt) and fresh ground pepper. Have I noticed a difference? Absolutely. These simple seasonings bring out the flavor of the dish/meat. With red meat and when she cooks seafood all we use is these two (unless she's doing a specialty seafood dish like her crab legs *drools*). I stopped using seasoning salt years ago, but I do use Mediterranean or Himalayan (pink) sea salt as table salts and of course fresh ground pepper on the table as well.
