None of which can be linked to the increase in the numbers of legally owned handguns. Claiming that having more legally armed citizens decreases gun crime is at best spurious and at worst dangerously self delusional. Perps are MORE likely to carry guns if they think their intended victims are armed.

The problem in the US is not illegal firearms but legal ones in nearly every single gun massacre legally purchased firearms were used to commit them.

The fact plans to stop dangerous and disturbed people obtaining firearms was blocked just highlights how pathologically fixated some Americans are on the 2nd amendment.

“Out of my cold dead hands!” regardless of the human cost to innocent lives.

I wouldn't mind hearing your thoughts on the Leila Fowler case. Her brother is 12 years old and was just arrested for stabbing her to death after telling police an intruder had done it. I'm worried about the likely sentencing that will be handed down if he's convicted. He's a child, but it's such a brutal crime. The law doesn't seem to have a solution that fits, imo.

The two little ten year old scumbags who tortured and murdered little james bulger got 8 years and their anonymity guaranteed for life afterwards.

That's not punishment enough nowhere near but I don't think they should have been tried as adults. Got to try and find a way of being severely punitive to children who commit serious crimes without treating them as adults.

It would give you a bit more credibility when you spout your claims.

Academia is not based on your delusions of intelligence. You don't qualify to judge anyone academically, but I bet your great at Trivial Pursuit.

You're right . . . I don't need to judge your academic shortcomings.

Your posts are stand alone testaments to your illiteracy and lack of rudimentary comprehension.

I love it when tards use a word they think they know and when they do, it becomes painfully clear they haven't a clue of its meaning. hah

You're right . . . there is something wrong with me actually thinking you would see the ridiculousness with your claim of academic adequacy while demonstrating your inability to properly use contractions instead of possessives.

And the fact, while repeatedly claiming you are being trolled, you continue to respond to soothe your bruised self image and spew hostility and obscenities.

Hello, drunken, stalking, white-trash!

BTW, stupid . . . define "Academia".

Retard.

I can't figure it out! I thought maybe you inadvertently changed the font color to black and the text merged with the background, but that doesn't appear to be the case. Your post appears blank in display mode, but when I "quote" it, your comment is visible - with no indication that the formatting was customized using the Mock UI. Weird.

Anyway, I read your reply in "quote" mode.

I agree and understand that there have been similar challenges in handling cases of murderous children globally. Wish the problem didn't exist, but the reality is that children sometimes commit very violent crimes.

The juvenile laws/sentences are too lenient for some crimes and offenders, and adult sentences/prisons just aren't appropriate for many of the youngest perpetrators. I agree with you, some solution in the middle is needed.

That is so much better than the "I don't know" I was going to post.

Thanks! hah

Any text associated with that post, the original, a reply or an attempt to copy, won't display. Invisible.

Best I can figure is it was some kind of setting on the sending device or just a flukey anomaly. I couldn't recreate it or do anything with it on my laptop either.

It's a ghost post!!

Mock has a feature called "spoiler" but one has to make the effort to use it, it's code and he would know if he did that because it uses tags.

I've never experienced this issue before.
