Obama care numbers are tremendously inflated also. They re-up automatically anyone that was on it previously. So every year it looks like quite a few are still on it.

That anti-abortion video doesn't 'debunk' the 3% statistic by Planned Parenthood, it confirms it. Despite the anti-abortion rhetoric in the video, the producers don't claim that the 3% is false.

Those who oppose abortion just don't like that valid statistic and think it's misleading. It's not misleading to me, but I understand what "all services" means.

Anti-abortion activists or people like me who like statistics can use accurate/audited numbers published openly by PP to determine the percentage of abortions per visits, abortion as a percentage of patients, abortion as a percentage of pregnancy tests, etc. -- plenty of ways to legitimately come up with another statistic which increases the abortion percentage/ratio; just change the comparative base. No problem.

^All accurate. And, of course, the opposing camps will each use the statistics and surrounding narrative/rhetoric which best serves their cause; nothing new. As long as the statistics chosen are accurate, I like viewing them all.

I still think that killing one child every 97 seconds is crazy. I also don't think a preg test and a abortion should be looked at as equal numbers/procedures.

Just a thought, but for sake of arguing, lets say that 3% number is right. Why not restrict abortions to Rape cases, incest, or medical reasons and eliminate the I just don't want to have a baby part. If that is done it may cut that number in ¹⁄₂ . So why not save the 98.5% of PP and just get rid of that 1.5%? Wouldn't that be a better deal? You can still receive all the other services that PP offers. You just cant kill a baby just because you don't want it.

Well, I like facts and objective perspective.

As I said, you pick the stats, language, and rhetoric that best supports your argument/belief, most people do and all almost all activists and politicians do.

Just like one accurate stat that anti-gun activists particularly like is that 3 people die of gunshot wounds per hour in the U.S. And, seven more people are shot but survive during that same hour.

The same kind of stat-picking applies to every controversial issue; nothing new.
