Next time you want a nice white to go with dinner or whatever, try Kendall Jackson Chardonnay. About 16 bucks here in Michigan at Wal-Mart; about 19 bucks at Kroger. Nice stuff, that.

Useless Fact # 476: There has been a major shift in winemakes moving away from corked bottles to screwtops because people often have no idea how to cellar a corked bottle and were oxidising the wine, tasting it, reporting to the world it tasted like crap and giving the wine a bad name. By putting an inert screwtop on the bottle, they are more or less idiot proofing it and protecting their reputations

That is just wonderful, really. The idiot manufacturers cow-towing to the idiot masses. How fucking revolting. Because the wine consumer is too much of a fucking retarded MORON to uncork the bottle, the manufacturer is just going to give them an easy way out? Repulsive. If a person can't figure out how to uncork a bottle of wine, we probably don't want them drinking in the first place. Jeezus-H-Tap-dancin' Christ.....::bang::

umm... it's not about de-corking the bottle, it's about how the bottle is treated while the cork is still in it

I was a bit surprised to "uncork" Bitch by screwing off the top, but other than the stigma attached to it, a mighty tasty wine.

In other words; you have no idea what the fuck you are talking about and have no attribution for your claim, isn't that right, dipshit?

I've been surprised by non-cork corks in some bottles. Plastic? Rubber? Nuclear waste? I dunno, but it slid out real nice.

No.. I didn't understand your question. Please explain to me how "And how many years of experience dealing with wine did this tell you, genius" makes sense?

Did you mean 'How many years of experience dealing with wine did you have to learn this, genius'?

If that's the case, I'm not a regular wine drinker, in fact, I haven't drunk at all for almost a year. I read it in a newspaper article where a whole bunch of traditionalists were carrying on about not having corked wine anymore, and the wineries response to it
