they did have troubles and altercations. i don't know enough about either of them to make an accusation. but the Sheriff so far considers it an accident. autopsy will determine if her fatal injuries were consistent with an accident. and i am sure there will be an accident reconstruction. it looks like a dangerous road for anyone speeding. or intent on suicide.

SIGNAL MOUNTAIN, HAMILTON COUNTY (WRCB)-- Investigators are back at work Saturday morning, processing the scene of where a missing Signal Mountain mother's remains were likely found.

Eyewitness News Reporter Megan Boatwright is on the scene, and says there has been minimal activity since investigators arrived around 9:00 a.m.

Investigators are unsure if they will be able to remove the remains, believed to be that of Gail Palmgren, who was last seen on April 30, leaving her Signal Mountain home. WTF... THEY MUST REMOVE HER!

Thursday, the missing mother's ruby red Jeep Rubicon was found within the first hour of an air search.

Hamilton County Sheriff Jim Hammond tells Channel 3, the vehicle was found resting against an uprooted tree, down a steep cliff.

He says personal items were found around the wreckage, including a cell phone inside the vehicle and a purse with ID nearly 100 feet away.

Investigators says they hope to airlift the vehicle from the site, but say military personnel may be needed due to the steep terrain.

Why in the world would they say they are unsure if they can remove her body? Please don't tell me it's because of the terrain. 78

i'm baffled. it IS very difficult terrain. she may be in skeletal bits due to animal activity. but they should be able to recover what remains there are.

Hamilton County Sheriff's Office Spokeswoman Janice Atkinson tells Channel 3, members of the UT forensics team are processing the human remains, believed to be that of Gail Palmgren, who was last seen on April 30, leaving her Signal Mountain home.

Atkinson says, gathering evidence has been "slow-moving" and "painstaking" due to the size of the rugged terrain, but says the remains could possibly be removed Sunday.

Sheriff: Body Found Is Gail Palmgren
December 05, 2011
The confirmation many suspected happened Monday afternoon.

The remains found on the side of Signal Mountain are those of Gail Palmgren.

Sheriff Jim Hammond said dental records and examination at the Medical Examiner's Office in Knoxville provided the confirmation.

The family has been notified.

Meanwhile, the tedious and delicate removal of Palmgren's Jeep Rubicon began earlier Monday.

The investigation shows the Jeep the 44-year-old mother of two was driving left East Brow Road around 12:25 p.m. April 30.

Monday's removal proved difficult with the steep slope of the mountain, rocks, trees and extremely long cable runs.

As of this report, the Jeep is about 100 feet above the W Road.

Sheriff Hammond reiterated the investigation shows "nothing inconsistent with an accident."

He added the crash investigation will remain open until the Jeep is thoroughly examined and all data is analyzed.

That includes the data that has already been downloaded from the Jeep's "black box," or event data recorder.

After hours of work, crews have nearly lowered the Jeep 300 feet to the W Road.

ORLANDO, Fla. — WFTV

The search for missing mother Michelle Parker is entering its 19th day and in a new interview her father said he now thinks the prime suspect in her disappearance may have had some help.

Michelle Parker's father, Brad Parker is now suggesting Parker's ex-fiance, Dale Smith Jr., not only knows where she is, but may have had an accomplice.
In a recent interview with ABC News, Brad Parker talked about the sole suspect in his daughter's disappearance, Smith.

"The detectives came out and said Dale was the number one suspect, so it came back to square one. He was the last one who saw her. In my point of view, he knows and someone else knows. He may have had an accomplice to help do something to Michelle," said Brad Parker.

WESH
DAYTONA BEACH --

The search for Michelle Parker has moved into a third county in as many weeks.

The missing Orlando mother's family said a tip called in to CrimeLine has led them to Daytona Beach.

The tipster reported seeing a woman matching Parker's description in the area of Atlantic Avenue and Seabreeze Boulevard.

Her family said Parker is apparently familiar with the area, because she would sometimes work as a bartender or promoter for area nightclubs at hot spots.

Michelle's brother, Dustin Erickson, said friends and family want to follow up on every credible tip they get.

Tuesday, volunteers plan to blanket the neighborhood near the beach with fliers.

Meanwhile, Parker's family continues to put public pressure on her ex-fiancé, Dale Smith II.

Orlando police have called him their primary suspect in Parker's disappearance, but Smith has not yet been arrested or charged.

Still, Brad Parker, Michelle's father, said he thinks Smith "knows, and someone else knows, and he may have had an accomplice."

It was not immediately clear if the Daytona Beach Police Department has any reason to believe Michelle Parker may be in their city.

But a week before the search moved to Daytona Beach, someone posted a sign with Parker's photo and information right in front of Daytona International Speedway.

A trust fund for Michelle Parker's family has been set up with the help of Morgan and Morgan law firm. The fund will "not only fund rescue efforts, but also provide for Parker's children."

I wonder if she will ever be found?
I highly doubt she is wondering around alive in Daytona Beach that's for sure.

LC: The fund will "not only fund rescue efforts, but also provide for Parker's children."

The rescue efforts, I thought the police paid for that.... oh wait, paying for the family's t-shirts, signs, benefits is what they must mean.

#breakingnews sources confirm missing mom #Michelleparker iPhone has been found.

don't yet know where it was found.

if someone killed her, i can't imagine being dumb enough not to destroy it.

Lauren Erickson, Parker's sister, confirmed that investigators showed the family the phone but did not tell them where they found it. Erickson also said that the phone is in very good condition.

so it wasn't out in the elements.

oh pitiful... the twins' babydaddy dale smith jr. is asking for donations since he hasn't been working. fuck him even if he didn't kill her!

You would think he would have changed his profile picture to that of the missing mother of his children.... all family of missing people/children seem to. Just an observation.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- A source close to the Michelle Parker investigation tells WESH 2 News that Michelle Parker's phone was found by a dive team in the Belle Isle area.
The phone was found in the water beneath the bridge that crosses over Lake Conway, near an area where Little Lake Conway and Lake Conway meet, the source said. - I wonder if this is on the way to Daddy's house and if this is where her hone last pinged?
Police said Thursday morning that the missing mom's phone was found in "remarkably good condition."

I think that comment is designed to make someone nervous. There isn't a "normal" cell phone in all the land that would be in remarkably good condition after spending this amount of time submerged.

i have to say finding a cell phone in the water beneath a bridge is the definition of needle in a haystack! incredible. that water is not high-vis and usually something like that would be buried in sediment. it's stunning.

#missingmom#Michelleparker iPhone located. Critical questions remain about whether it was found or turned in by someone.

Orlando Sentinel

December 8, 2011

SANFORD — Michelle Parker's mom broke down in tears today after learning how divers found her daughter's iPhone under a bridge in Belle Isle.

"I cannot even begin to tell you how much pain my heart is in today," Stewart said. "I want to find my daughter."

A distraught Yvonne Stewart said from the family's command post in Sanford that she's worried something bad has happened to her 33-year-old daughter.

A law-enforcement source told the Orlando Sentinel this afternoon that the phone was found in water under a bridge that crosses over Lake Conway.

Until now, Stewart has remained mostly upbeat in her public appearances, saying she had faith her daughter would return safely.

The area where #Michelleparker phone was found is a cut through from east Orlando where #DaleSmith lives to west side parents' house.
