We took a three year old to "Walmart" in the middle of the night to help out a friend. We parked, and walked inside. "This is a big Walmart. Where are the toys?" We sat down to wait for a minute, then "Daddy!" He ran to meet his dad, who he hasn't seen in almost a year. Their entire family had to chip in the little money they had for Christmas to bring that Marine home for a few days. There isn't much under their tree, but that little boy is going to have a great Christmas. I'm glad I saw that.
If you see a soldier, sailor, airman, or Marine, be sure to thank them. They give a lot.

So, this Saturday we are celebrating a rather significant birthday....at least in the lives of some. Now, what I want to know..why do we not have THIS be a Christmas carol?

Daily Mail ......a couple decided to clip their 20ft conifer tree into the shape of a Christmas pudding - then completed it with lashings of cream, huge holly leaves and big red berries. The front garden hedge also has a giant robin perching on top and has become a popular landmark in Somerset England, over the past five years at Christmas time.
