HAILEY DUNN, 13, missing/killed --Texas
(09-20-2011, 07:02 PM)Lady Cop Wrote: yes i know to be cautious about online "friends" soliciting funds. she vanished pretty fast when questioned.

even if she was a friend of billie, i wouldn't have trusted any monies to be used anywhere besides dope and new TV and furniture. like other early donations.

Now that I have read the entire thread and watched/read all the media posted, I have to agree with you. I wonder if anyone will ever charge her
with misusing those funds? I know that when these banking accounts are
set up, they (the bank) recquire 2, 3 or more signatures or ok's in order to release the monies.
There are fliers all over the place (truck stops, convenience stores) in that
whole corridor from North of Midland-Odessa to South of Snyder.
People werent even stopping to look at them as they opened the door.
I did, because I recalled seeing the case here on mock.
I really do believe that douche boyfriend and mother have everything
in the world to do with her disappearance. The land there is sooo wide
open, prairie land to be exact, and lots of places to lose a body.
I noticed there was no real time line as to time available for disposal
of the body...travel etc. Im thinking shes somewhere close, well, the
pieces of her. Im thinking that bastard probably cut her up like that movie
he is obsessed with and got rid of pieces all over the place.

Members of the community are now asking for help as they continue to search.

They're hoping to bring search dogs to Colorado City. Bringing in a dog would be an independent project, not sponsored by any law enforcement agency.

I am not sure how much good search dogs would do at this point, but at least the community hasn't forgotten Hailey. Unlike her mother.

I was back through that area again last week.
The billboards are still up, as are the flyers....
It was very cold, bleak and raining...
Couldnt help but ask her where she was...and to wish

COLORADO CITY, (KCBD) -

Eleven months ago Sunday, Colorado City teen Hailey Dunn went missing. Since then, numerous searches turned up very few leads in the case.

Her family, including Hailey's grandmother, Connie Jones, is still desperate for her return.

Jones says Hailey showed no signs of wanting to run away. Billboards are stationed for miles around Colorado City, and fliers have been put up from Lubbock to Mexico in an effort to bring the teen home safely.

Hailey's grandmother says the holidays have been tough without Hailey, but she hasn't given up hope.

Hailey's softball glove and ball still sit on a stool in Jones' living room, and pictures of Hailey still line her walls. "Every time some little kid walks down the road about her age, I'm there at the window pressing my eyes at the window, hoping, praying, that it's her."

So far these hopes haven't come true, and Jones is struggling with Hailey's absence.

"Last month I didn't think I was going to get through the day, but I have to make it. I have to make it for when she does come home."

If and when Hailey does come home, "I can fix her chocolate pie," Jones says.

Jones says eleven months ago she received phone calls from her granddaughter every day. "We had so many plans, and I was going to teach her how to sew this year."

"I don't want to live unless I know … where Hailey is. But I make myself get up everyday and do what I have to do."

Investigators are staying tight lipped about the search for the missing thirteen year old.

Jones says, "I'd do anything humanly possible to bring Hailey and put her back in my son's arms because he needs her. We all need her"

Most of Hailey's family has moved away, changing their phone numbers, including Hailey's mother Billie - who now lives in Austin with her boyfriend, Shawn Adkins. Adkins was also the last person to see Hailey alive. DIE YOU IGNORANT SLUT DIESlut

"If it was my daughter, there's no way that I would leave that house," Jones says.

Jones has stayed at the same address and says Hailey knows where her spare key is. "Hailey, you got to come back. You told me you were going to make me a bracelet and you haven't done it yet."

"I always cautioned her on never talking to strangers. She'd always assure me I didn't have anything to worry about. I'm worried. I'm worried about my granddaughter."

When asked that anyone you know could be involved, Jones says, "Well, they say that most abductions are someone that you know. I don't know."

And while Jones doesn't know where Hailey is, she has a message for anyone who does. "Just let us know where Hailey is at -- that she's alright, please. Just let us have some kind of closure. Please."

I sooo was hoping that this was gonna say "body found" or something like that. My heart breaks for Hailey's Grandma Jones. At least someone in her family cares.

I would fully support torturing Billie Dunn until she gives up what happened to her daughter.

I agree LC, there's no way I would move away if my baby girl was missing. I'm more convinced now that she is hiding something, like the fact that her slimeball hubby killed her little girl. She's disgusting!! It's like out of site out of mind. If she'd spent as much time concentrating on her daughter then Shawn, we might have some answers by now. Yes, she's definitely part of her missing daughter's murder. I'd bet on it!!
Bitch!

KTXS
BIG SPRING, Texas -- Several law enforcement authorities are combing the scene Wednesday morning in Big Spring where human remains were found Tuesday.

Some officers were at the scene before daybreak, and a long line of official vehicles arrived just before 9 a.m., including an unusual-looking specialty truck with a camper on back. Another vehicle was a criminal investigation unit.

The scene is an oil field equipment facility with large metal tanks, metal shops and a warehouse on the property. There are barrels, fork lifts, cinder blocks and oil field equipment across the property.

Several officers wearing khaki pants and dark blazers were on the property searching an area that appears to be behind a metal shop and interviewing workers in a warehouse located at the facility.

There has been no official word whether the remains found Tuesday are those of missing Colorado City teenager Hailey Dunn. Authorities are just beginning their examination of the remains.

At least one news organization released an inaccurate headline Wednesday morning indicating the remains were of Hailey Dunn. of course they did. reporters/news outlets don't check little things like FACTS. that was GMA who should know better. assholes.

Mitchell County Sheriff Patrick Toombs, involved since the beginning in the investigation of Hailey's disappearance, said it would be at least a week before any positive identification could be made.

Big Spring is an area of interest in the Hailey Dunn case because suspect Shawn Adkins told authorities that on the day Hailey disappeared that he left his job in Snyder and went to Big Spring, where his mother lived.

Although the remains are of interest in the Hailey Dunn case, there are also another five people allegedly missing in the Big Spring area.

The unidentified remains were found Tuesday in the 2500 block of Apron Drive, about two blocks east of the airport.

Several law enforcement authorities arrived at daybreak Wednesday to begin examine the scene in a field just east of the McMahon-Wrinkle Airport in Big Spring.

Several marked police cars were at the scene, along with several black SUVs with other authorities. The FBI agents involved in the Hailey Dunn case were requested to come to the scene.

Several members of the news media are stationed just outside a large area that has been marked off with crime tape.

remains are mummified.

BIG SPRING, TX (KCBD) -

The FBI and DPS investigators were on the scene in Big Spring Wednesday morning after a body was discovered Tuesday. KCBD NewsChannel 11 has learned from multiple sources that officials were 90 percent sure that the body was that of Hailey Dunn, 13, who turned up missing from Colorado City in late December of 2010.

An official announcement is expected Wednesday afternoon. The body was found by workers of a company called Desert Tanks in a pasture near the McMahon Wrinkle Airpark on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. The company used a tank lid overnight to protect the body from rain.

CBS7 News / KOSA-TV Sgt. Everett: body is mummified. Body remains will have to be sent off. Still cannot make a determination on gender. The area was not searched for Haley Dunn to the BSPD knowledge.

This is so sad, I am torn between wanting it to be Hailey and not, the latter because it really means that dick did something bad to her!
