Hmmmm . . . let's review:

Clarke was arrested, along with Daniel St. Clair and Quintwez Sanders, in 2007 for robbing two men at gunpoint in two separate incidents in Toledo when Clarke was 18.

In January, 2008, Clarke pleaded no contest to two reduced charges of robbery, a second-degree felony, and was sentenced to three years in prison by Judge Denise Dartt.

Since three individuals were involved, would you prefer the description of "Groupsta"?

Not sure what you call but not a gang, it was a group and one bad thing makes you a gangsta? Well Lisa popped pills supposably is she a drug addict? I would not go that far I am Just saying a little over the edge

TWO robberies WITH guns. Not one.

Prison . . . not jail.

As to Lisa allegedly popping pills . . . do you know this for a fact and was it recreational or chemical dependency?

"One bad thing?" "One bad thing?"

When I was 18, "one bad thing" was maybe bringing my girlfriend back home ten minutes past her curfew. Or talking out of turn in science class.

Not "robbing two men at gunpoint in two separate incidents."

Very true, im a nurse and on a daily basis deal with tape sticking to and ripping my gloves. I often rip the tape ahead of time if im planning on using it, or take my gloves off in the process.
Also, im curious as to people saying Tiffnay has 3 children and her 4th on the...isnt she a minor? Red alert of a great lifestyle to me! And as for the way that JC's mom throws Lisa under the bus, I think she is just being a mother-but none the less, its not cool.

And she got herself knocked up only 5 months after the shooting death of her last fiance. Nice girl.

On her FB page she keeps repeating that she loves Aaron (her boyfriend) and three other names which I deduced to be her kids. She is also pregnant with number four. She's not a minor, that's obvious. Her page mentions she's in college. There's a scary thought. More proof of the dumbing down of America. I wonder if she writes her college papers in gansta text.

Everything has been VERY quiet locally. No rumor mill locally (at least that I have heard). Local media is not putting much into this story for some reason.

No that is what I am wondering, if weve heard nothing does that mean that her story panned out???
Hard to believe IMO,

A few things still strike me as odd in this case... why would the mother wait until the police were gone the second time to boost someone up and look in a window? If that is all it took to see bodies lying on the floor you would think it should have been done AS SOON AS you arrived to the house, especially if you had such a "gut feeling" something had went wrong.

Also the mom talks about knowing where a key is. She does not mention looking to see if the key is there before they decided to kick in a door... The key was kept somewhere in the garage but Maytee already had stated all the cars were in the garage, so how could she know this without being able to go in or see inside? She is also trying to say there was probable cause for the police to break into the house.... FAT CHANCE!!! I definitely do not want police to have the power to kick in a door just because someone won't answer their phone or the doorbell, sure this scenario played out tragically this time, but there could have been a number of reasons they were not answering the door...

Also I do not think Johnny's family is handling this situation in the right way. Maytee should be working with LE, not going on TV shows bad mouthing Lisa. Lisa may have not been the best behaved child, but at least she never went to jail for a year and a half!! In all honesty, this case would have never gotten national attention had it not been for Lisa being involved. Johnny was involved in some bad shit.... Of course they did not deserve to die but we are no strangers to murder in Toledo and the national news outlets usually do not pick up the stories. But as soon as a pretty white girl is murdered in the suburbs everyone wants to talk about what a tragedy it was. People... all murders are tragedies, whether or not a pretty white woman lost their life.

Although I sincerely wish the mother had nothing to do with the murders, I can't help but think T knows more than she is saying. I hope this girl realizes the severity of the situation she has put herself in... Police can ping your cell phone and find out where you have made calls from... if she was anywhere in the area of the Straub household during those original 11 pm phone calls she could be in some serious trouble... If she knows who the killers are she should certainly speak up, she doesn't want to be going to trial for murder I would assume. T has 3 kids and a 4th on the way, she needs to start thinking about their futures... does she want her children growing up without a mother because she lied to LE during a murder investigation? I doubt it. Plus from the looks of it I don't think her bf will be able to raise those kids by himself.... And they keep mentioning her ex Donald who was killed (he robbed someone at gunpoint and then was later killed by the very person he robbed), saying God just wanted his soldier back... Maybe God wanted an armed robber off the streets?? None of these people seem to be functioning members of society.

Finally... $5,000 reward for info? Seriously??? These people's lives were only worth $2,500 a piece to us here in Toledo?? If you want someone to rat their accomplice out a reward much higher than 5K is going to be required...

IMO

I'm not buying the "hoisted the cousin up" story. Johnny's dad kicked in that door. To get answers. That LE had failed to. For whatever reason. Momma'
s gut was talking the truth. Something bad had happened.

Have been reading with interest all the comments and information going back and forth.
Maytee is known as a "psychic" or holistic healer around town from what I understand, and I agree with the majority that she is a total whack job. What the hell is wrong with her? This doesn't stem completely from her son's death, look at her OWN criminal record for Gods sake. Then look at Johnny's dad's record. Johnny grew up with volatile, voilent, law breaking parents but mom says "my son didn't have any enemies? It's basically all Lisa's fault". Disgusts me that mom is whoring the story around and each time she tells it, it changes and Lisa becomes the bad guy. She needs to stop shooting her mouth off asap IMO and show Lisa's family a bit of class that they too...lost a child.
Our honorable Denise Dartt let Johnny boy out of prison early from his sentence, and to be sentenced to only 3 years for 2 seperate incidences of armed robbery is a travesty in of itself.
I agree with LadyCop that this was PERSONAL and that they didn't go there with bags. For all we know, one of the lowlifes could have said he saw it on TV or in a movie...lets do it! After they had subdued them. I totally agree that it evolved from something personal and is NO WAY a random home invasion.
My nephew went to Springfield High with Lisa and said she was a known drug abuser, so I would imagine that she wasn't exactly hanging out with a good crowd herself. he also said that her ex-boyfriend is a "psycho" and amongst his friends, they consider him a viable suspect cuz he was a lunatic. (His words, not mine)
I also think Tiffany is definitely involved and needs to be interrogated until she completely cracks, and unfortunately, I do not have a good deal of faith in our Sheriff's dept, OR the investigator in charge (whole other story!). The fact that they have put up a 5K reward smacks of them maybe not knowing what they are doing cuz this sure as shit, brought all the "gangsta" folks running to the dept to muddy the waters with bogus info just to get the dough.
The Toledo Blade has completely SUCKED on coverage of this crime, why? I'm not sure...but they barely have anything to say about it at all. John Block (owner of the Blade) is notorious for picking and choosing what is covered in the Blade and for the last year at least, he's been obsessed with stories about dogs!
No one deserves to die as they did..but I'm sorry, you live by the sword and you die by the sword. When drugs, gangstas, armed robbers, convicted felons, etc. are a part of your everyday world, bad shit is eventually going to happen to you.
Has it been released anywhere that there were signs of struggle? If Lisa had been sexually assaulted? Particularly since her legs were not taped together...
Her ex could still be a viable suspect, but I'm more prone to believe that Miss T and the crew she hung with are ass deep in this.

LabRat...I am afraid they are functioning members of society and thats what scares me.

The way our american culture has changed in the last 30 years is troubling. I agree with shitstorm and it bothers me. I look back on the movie "Grease" and see this dynamic being romanticized and fed to us as entertainment. The television code of ethics of the fifties, if anyone can remember, made it imperative that all bad deeds were met with justice by the end of show. I know that is unrealistic but the pendulum has swung too far the other way.

There have been no official mention of sexual assault on Lisa, some people have said there was blood pooled in the bag on Lisa's head but this is hearsay and not an official LE announcement.

If you look at T's friends on facebook... it seems she knows quite a few people who are in the bloods... which I believe her ex Donald may have been part of. Not that this necessarily sounds like a gang related death to me, just pointing out that the people she chooses to associate with are certainly not of the highest caliber.

Your very right it was very bad but it does not mean he was the worst person in the world. He or his GF did not deserve anything like that to be done. What you consider a bad seed someone may not at 18 he was still a boy maybe hanging around the wrong person or people you don't just write someone off for that. If you have not noticed this is 2011 bringing a girl home late at 18 is void now these kids are into bigger and worst things.

After Johnny's parents forced entry into the home, does anyone believe that the scene was, uhhh . . . sanitized . . . before LE arrived?

I know a few people who went to school with LS and say that this is something that has been going on now for a few years. From my understand before JC.
