I would bet that most of us on this forum know more than some of the officers working the case. Last year Toledo had 11 murders unsolved out of 26 total... that's a 58% solve rate, or 42% of the murders remain unsolved.... not very good chance that this one will be solved IMHO.

My thoughts exactly!!!

Isn't Holland OH police Department handling this. That is where the crime took place, not Toledo.

Even if Holland is handling the case, Holland is basically Toledo... and I'm sure TPD officers have a higher paycheck... so if there were ANY good police working for Holland PD they have already transferred to TPD.

IMO

Her kids dont live with her.

hmm well scratch that then... who has custody?? and WTF is the bitch doing getting pregnant again if you already have 3 fucking kids you don't have custody of ?!? Ugh.... what a world we live in

I think some people should be allowed to "pay off" some of their prison time with voluntary sterilization. Ex: you're convicted of a crime and you're sentenced to 10 years in prison... or, volunteer to be sterilized and the 10 years will be knocked down to 5. Your choice.

I live in this neighborhood - it is a screwy location in that we are in Springfield Township and the Springfield school district but our mailing address is Maumee. The Lucas County Sheriff's department handles crime issues in the neighborhood including this, not Toledo or Holland PDs. I have no idea why this is the case.

OK. I do not think the house was ransacked....Here is the quote from the police.

"Authorities said several items were overturned inside the home -- suggesting there had been a struggle."

i did a post a few pages back about this. I was using J's mom's statement that "their faces wouldn't move, or you couldn't move their faces" to mean that rigor had already begun. I think they died between 11-1, not 12-4 like the Blade has released. Im a nurse and I'm also basing my opinion on all the dead folks I've seen, etc... I mean 4?? Mom and dad had already busted in the door by then.

Because the house was located in a township, the Sheriff's department has jurisdiction and that is just SCARY. I swear, I don't think this will be solved unless somebody starts to roll.

I forgot about that. It has been a couple of years since I lived in the area.

Hopefully if they are amatures as the scene suggests one of them won't be able to shut their mouth about it. Maybe if we are lucky, the LE will catch on to the person running thier mouth and arrest them.

Hello, everyone, I have been a lurker here for a few days now. This story has me so involved that I find my self running back and forth regularly. The first thing I'd like to say is that my heart goes out to both of the victims families, absolutely NO one deserves this cruel death. As for John's mother, she's a mess! I found her postings on her dead son's FB page to be quite creepy, and totally not what you would expect of a grieving mother, possibly a lover, but not a son. I can promise you that she is on some kind of drugs, and probably is at this exact moment, her concern should be for her other two living boys, can't imagine how they are dealing, especially with the mother carrying on with her rants and raves, must be hard for them. Poor little guys. :( She (the mother) knows something, I'd bet on it.
The kid might be a great, smiling every time you see him kind a kid, but the truth is he was a drug dealer IMO, and someone didn't get paid or someone got screwed over...etc. The innocent one here is Lisa, young girls that fall hard in love with a cute kid, fall hard, and will do anything for them, even if it means going against the way they were raised. So she was letting the drug dealing go on even though she wasn't happy about it. He wasn't employed, had no car, and lived here and there, that speaks volumes to me.
Now, to the mother of Johnny, "Oh my God!" she's a total basket case, and was probably that way for years, this just gave her a reason to do more drugs, (still just speculation) it's all about her now, this is her time to let everyone see her grief and pain, and she does it quite well, I'd say.
I don't think the murderers came with the bags and tape. I think since it was more or less a flop house while the parents were away, people coming in and out all hours, and stopping at the local 7-11 for a six pack, that there would be plenty of plastic bags all over the place. The tape was right there in sight so, no prob. with that part. I think whoever killed those kids, took only drugs, that's what they went there for IMO. When you deal drugs you always have to have what they call the 'Big Man' the supplier, and they are as hardcore people you will ever meet! You have to show all the little ones under you, that you're not playing games when it comes to your money and your drugs. That's what went down that night (Pure speculation still) I don't think it will be a lengthy time before they are hauling some asses into jail. To the mother: For god's sake, please get a grip for your boys if not for yourself, Please! Take a long look at your videos, do you really think that's normal behavior? The kids lady, the kids! think about their pain.

Thanks to everyone who has added some good stuff to this forum, I love it and plan on hanging around, if you let me. Love this forum!

Please don't be to rough on me for I'm just a noob ya know...haha Smiley_emoticons_smile

I'd love to be made a member, I really would.

I wonder if they were all in the same circle of friends and if that is how Johnny and Lisa met. If so, then the ex may be important; maybe he was upset about Lisa now dating Johnny-just a thought.

I don't know why her ex would be upset about Lisa "now" dating Johnny. From the articles I've read, Lisa & Johnny have been dating 2 years.

I live in the neighborhood as well, and now that I think about it I don't think I've ever seen a Holland Police car drive around, only the Sheriff's Dept. The closest I've seen Holland Police is Airport/Holloway at that Speedway. Police

I really hope LE got some full finger prints off the duct tape or bags. There's probably all kinds of DNA about the house but it seems there was a lot of traffic over the few days Lisa's parents were gone, people playing pool and hanging out etc.

LadyCop, do you think this case is going anywhere at this point? I'm really hoping that Pink was wrong about this case being cold. Also, as far as lie detectors; how easy is it to "cheat"? If someone was on i.e. Xanax to help their anxiety, keep them calm, could this throw a lie detector?

It says 5 to 10 days.

Looks like we could hear something any day if this is the case. It would depend on the case load to. Smiley_emoticons_biggrin
