Johnny S. Clarke & Lisa Straub- young Ohio couple murdered

She seemed to have a dialogue all ready!! Insane

YES!! That was my first thought last night. It wouldn't surprise me at all, to find out she took the marker, & made up the 'beads' story for attention, to get on TV. This makes her torture even worse, so that she can keep spewing all that bullshit on Facebook, & everywhere else. If the marker was truly taken, I really think it was taken by friends. Someone wanted to have this as a keepsake. The beads??? Maybe wrapping them around the angel was the only way to make them STAY on the angel ?? (that's IF Maytee didn't do that also)

It's not like the gravesight was trashed, like a lot have been here in Toledo recently. Since when is leaving a "gift" a crime? I can only assume there are MANY visitors to his grave site, someone left a gift. Yes, investigate the grave marker but taking the beads in for fingerprinting? Come on.

I think LE is thinking that whomever stole the gravemarker also placed the rope of beads around the neck of the statue. I don't blame them nor do I feel like it's an over reaction. Her son was murdered & someone stole his grave marker & left a gift in replacement (rope of beads) possibly the same person.

It's just anything to torment Maytee - its a nasty thug that did this
imagine tampering with a grave - it could be party beads that were left.

Nope. It seems to have vanished like a fart in the wind.

Just a thought about the beads. This past weekend was the start of Mardi Gras. Many bars and clubs give away Mardi Gras beads. Perhaps that's the type of beads they are referring to?

I'd think that before I'd think that a rosary was left. I think that's a good possibility. By the way, welcome to the board Smiley_emoticons_smile

Hello eff - I think you could be right.

I grew up in small town America & I'm educated by nuns, things like this don't happen where I come from. Car accidents due to poor judgment did happen though & I can recall a group of us smoking a joint at the grave of the friend who was buried there. To be quite honest, I think if a crime of this nature had happened, we would have been petrified & not gone within miles of the grave.

I don't know people like some of the people referenced in this thread and for the very first time I am at a complete understanding of why my parents were so adamant about the kids I hung with.

I'd actually be cool with that simply because it got featured on the news. I'm down with pretty much anything that will keep this in the public eye.

Beads on hemp usually have a peaceful meaning. The angel was
not defaced or stolen. I agree with the posters who said it was
more than likely a tribute. Some religions leave a stone by a
grave when they visit. Perhaps if the beads were of a threatening
nature, it might change the meaning. http://www.wiccanway.com/Hemp-Bracelet-W...p_335.html

Re the glasses - I know of several children who have the polarized
lens because of migraines. The tv cameras would make them
turn dark, whereas in a normal home environment, they would appear
clear/grayish. Even in a dark space, tv cameras have to have intense
light. Polarized lens are so intense light does not aggravate the
wearer's eyes and set of a migraine.

Media would have seen to it that she would not be weepy as they
often get in trouble if they interview a crying witness.

someone here made a comment about it being possible TWO people are typing posts for Maytee. One being her, & someone else helping out. Can't remember who 'said' this, but I tend to agree. Her 'style' changes in some of her posts. Oh well, not that it means anything, I just noticed it.

Could be. The thing that bothers me about the hemp is, that it isn't a particulary "gangsta" thing to wear. More hippy-ish. I could see maybe one of LS's friends wearing hemp, not JC. Who knows. I hate it when they leave out little details like that. It wouldn't have been hard to say what kind of "beads on a rope" But because they leave that out, we could sit around all day discussing it lol & at the end of the day, it really doesn't even matter what kind. *SIGH* Russian

I totally agree with you. By leaving out the details of what type of beaded rope it was, is going to let our imaginations run wild with speculation. Before you know it, some 20 pages later after discussing it, someone will have the opinion it was *anal beads* or something off the wall like that! lol

I see your point, and completely agree with you. I just thought there was a lot of things wrong with her interview. I am all about eye contact, after working with criminals myself, I know eye contact is essential when looking for deceit.

Maytee is on the justice will prevail site bitching up a storm at us . She says we are mocking her sunglasses and claiming that she can't afford a plaque or that she ever loved Lisa. I find it interesting that she is not casting spells on whoever took the plaque or placed the beads. She always damns everyone to hell yet she is not attacking whoever supposedly messed with the gravesite. just a thought.

Holland-Springfield Journal today:

Public help sought in homicide investigation
The Lucas County sheriff's office is asking for public input in the January deaths of two young people in a Springfield Township home.
Johnny S. Clarke and Lisa Straub were found dead in a home on Longacre Lane on January 31. The couple had been murdered.
Kathy Stooksbury, an investigator with the sheriff's office, said the department is seeking anybody who may have information on the case.
Detective Stooksbury said investigators are looking at all leads. "We don't know why this happened. They were just two young kids living life one day at a time," she said.
The detective noted that the department is still awaiting the toxicology report, adding that it can take some time before they receive the results.
In the meantime, the department is actively following up on any leads day and night. "Anything, anyone may have seen; we want them to tell us," she said.
The detective added that the department can't say whether this a chance incident. "We don't know if this is random or not."
Detectives are open to any and all possibilities. "We are not attributing this to any one thing. We can't do tunnel vision. That puts blinders on us," she said.
Detective Stooksbury said the department won't rest until the perpetrators are caught. "Nobody wants to solve this more than we do," she added.
She encourages anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 419-255-1111.

Her sunglasses are prescription for Migraine Headaches.

I think all of this is so sad and now a freak steals a monument.

I am sorry I have CHRONIC migraine 3-5 a week and work in the medical.profession and never heard of prescription sunglasses for treatment and it was DARK.......

A night manager I know had a bicycle accident, due to this accident the bright lights have been triggering migraines and she started wearing sunglasses - it could be a prescription dark vision glass - who gives a damn - I have mercy for Maytee she didn't deserve to lose her son like this.

Damn, anal beads would explain SO much! J/K, and I agree, it is just so damn frustrating the lack of clear explanations in this case. This reminds me of "interband pants"
